The Preface, we think, could have been made more lucid, had an attempt been made by the writer to treat each issue raised by him in greater detail. As it is, it reads as if he had adopted the conclusion of other Jain writers-like Mansukhlal Ravji and Mansukhlal Kiratchand without acknowledging their authorship.
