7th Seventh :- A thing, where it is, or an act, where it is taking place, that thing or act is placed in the 7th case.
Sambohan :
જે નામને છેડે ‘માટે’ એવું લખાય તેને તથા જેને કાંઈ આપવાનું હોય તેને ચોથી વિભક્તિ લાગે છે. દા.ત. સમળા મોવન્ધાય ખત્તે । (સાધુઓ મોક્ષ માટે યત્ન કરે છે.) અહીં મોક્ષ શબ્દને ચોથી વિભક્તિ છે. Those nouns 'for whom' and those nouns 'to whom' something is given is placed in the 4th case.
For e.g.: સમળા મોન્લાય ખત્તે 'Saadhus' [saints] are making an effort for attaining 'moksha'. Here, the word 'moksha' is in the fourth case. એક વસ્તુથી બીજી વસ્તુ છૂટી પડે ત્યાં પાંચમી વિભક્તિ વપરાય છે.
દા.ત. વત્તો નુ ં પડ । (ઝાડ ઉપરથી ફૂલ પડે છે.) અહીં ઝાડથી ફૂલ છૂટું પડે છે તેથી ઝાડને પાંચમી વિભક્તિ લાગે છે.
Where one thing gets seperated from another thing, 5th case is used. For e.g.: વત્તો નુ ં પડર્ફે A Flower is falling down from a tree. Here, flower is seperated from the tree. Therefore fifth case is applied to the word 'tree.' જેની સાથે સંબંધ હોય તે નામને છઠ્ઠી વિભકિત લાગે છે.
દા.ત. વીરસ સીનો હૈં । (હું વીરભગવાનનો શિષ્ય છું.) અહીં શિષ્યનો સંબંધ વીર ભગવાન સાથે છે, તેથી વીર શબ્દને છઠ્ઠી વિભક્તિ લાગે છે.
The noun towards whom the relationship is shown, is placed in the 6th case.
For e.g.: વીરસ્ડ સીસો ૢ I am a disciple of Bhagavan Mahavir. Here the rela
tionship of the disciple is with Bhagavan Mahavir. So the words 'Bhagavan Mahavir' is placed in the sixth case.
ક્રિયા કે વસ્તુ જ્યાં હોય કે થતી હોય, તેવા નામને સાતમી વિભક્તિ લાગે છે. તે નામને છેડે પ્રાયઃ કરીને ‘માં’ ‘ઉપર’ એવું લખાય છે.
દા.ત. સમુદ્દે નજં જ્ઞોઽ । (સમુદ્રમાં જળ હોય છે.) અહીં જળનો આધાર સમુદ્ર છે, તેથી સમુદ્રને સાતમી વિભક્તિ લાગે છે.
For e.g.: સમુદ્દે ન ં ઢોર્ Water is in the sea. Here the place water is 'Sea'. So Sea is placed in the seventh case.
કોઈને સંબોધીને કંઈ કહેવાનું હોય ત્યારે સંબોધન વિભક્તિનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે. સંબોધન એ આઠમી વિભક્તિ નથી પણ તેનો પહેલી વિભક્તિની અંદર સમાવેશ કરી લેવાય છે.
દા.ત. દે રામ ! હિં રાચ્છડ઼ । (હે રામ ! તું ક્યાં જાય છે ?). અહીં રામ શબ્દને સંબોધન વિભક્તિ છે.
When we want to address someone, we use 'Sambohan' Case. This case is not the 8th case, but it is included in the 1st case.
हे રામ ! હિં ગ∞રૂ "He Ram ! Where are you going ?" Here 'Ram' is
