V anitye sati satkaryam katham namasya jayate ___adyantau yasya lokasya so'nitya iti bhasyate || 13 || The first half of the original karika excepting the word bhavisyati (see below) is found in the fragments (HPS, p. 493). V's restoration of the second half is objectionable. The Tib. text does not say here that the loka is anitya, as he thinks. It means that it is said in the loka (or the loka says) that a thing which has adi and anta is anitya. I may offer the following translation: * अनित्ये सति सत्कार्यं कथं नाम* भविष्यति। आद्यन्तौ यस्य विद्येते तल्लोकेऽनित्यमुच्यते // 13 // CSV: mi rtag yin na jilta bu hbras bu yod ces bya bar hgyur | hdi gnis ni phan tshun hgal baai phyir ro z'es bya bar dogg* so || hdi ltar gan la thog ma mthah yod pa de la hjig rten mi rtag bsad | gan gi sna rol du dnos po gz'an med pa de ni hjig rten na thog 1 HPS ad. tarhi after asya. * Tib, ma hons pahi don=anagatartha ; HPS om. it. * Tib. rtag pa nid ; HPS marks here a lacuna reading capao for following apao. .
