चौथा उद्देशक] [201 इसी प्रकार मुण्डित करना, शिक्षित करना, उपस्थापित करना, एक मण्डली में साथ बिठाकर आहार करना तथा साथ रखना नहीं कल्पता है। विवेचन-१. पण्डक-जो जन्म से नपुंसक होता है, उसे 'पण्डक' कहते हैं। 2. वातिक-जो वातरोगी है अर्थात् कामवासना का निग्रह करने में असमर्थ होता है, उसे 'वातिक' कहते हैं। 3. क्लीब-असमर्थ या पुरुषत्वहीन कायर पुरुष को 'क्लीब' कहते हैं। ये तीनों ही प्रकार के नपुसक दीक्षा देने के योग्य नहीं हैं, क्योंकि ऐसे व्यक्तियों को दीक्षित करने से प्रवचन का उपहास और निर्ग्रन्थ धर्म की निन्दा आदि अनेक दोष होते हैं। यदि पूरी जानकारी किए बिना उक्त प्रकार के नपुसकों को दीक्षा दे दी गई हो और बाद में उनका नपुंसकपन ज्ञात हो तो उसे मुण्डित नहीं करे अर्थात् उनके केशों का लुचन नहीं करे / यदि केशलुचन के पश्चात् नपुंसकपन ज्ञात हो तो उन्हें महाव्रतों में उपस्थापित न करे अर्थात् बड़ी दीक्षा न दे। यदि बड़ी दीक्षा के पश्चात् उनका नपुसकपन ज्ञात हो तो उनके साथ एक मण्डली में बैठकर खान-पान न करे। यदि इसके पश्चात् उनका नपुंसकपन ज्ञात हो तो उन्हें सोने-बैठने के स्थान पर एक साथ न सुलावे-बिठावे। अभिप्राय यह है कि उक्त तीनों प्रकार के नपुंसक किसी भी प्रकार से दीक्षा देने योग्य नहीं हैं। कदाचित् दीक्षित हो भी जाय तो ज्ञात होने पर संघ में रखने योग्य नहीं होते हैं / वाचना देने के योग्यायोग्य के लक्षण 10. तओ नो कप्पंति वाइत्तए, तं जहा--- 1. अविणीए, 2. विगइ-पडिबद्ध, 3. अविओसवियपाहडे / 11. तओ कप्पंति वाइत्तए, तं जहा 1. विणीए, 2. नो विगइ-पडिबद्ध, 3. विओसवियपाहुडे / 10. तीन को वाचना देना नहीं कल्पता है, यथा 1. प्रविनीत-विनयभाव न करने वाले को, 2. विकृति-प्रतिबद्ध-विकृतियों में प्रासक्त रहने वाले को, 3. अनुपशांतप्राभृत-अनुपशान्त क्रोध वाले को। 11. इन तीनों को वाचना देना कल्पता है, यथा 1. विनीत-सूत्रार्थदाता के प्रति वन्दनादि विनय करने वाले को, 2. विकृति-अप्रतिबद्ध-विकृतियों में प्रासक्त न रहने वाले को, 3. उपशान्तप्राभृत-उपशान्त क्रोध वाले को /
