सत्तरहयां लेश्यापद : चतुर्थ उद्देशक] [297 [उ.] गौतम ! जैसे कोई वड्र्यमणि काले सूत्र में या नीले सूत्र में, लाल सूत्र में या पीले सूत्र में अथवा श्वेत (शुक्ल) सूत्र में पिरोने पर वह उसी के रूप में यावत् (उसी के वर्ण, गन्ध, रस और स्पर्श के रूप में) पुनः पुनः परिणत हो जाती है, इसी प्रकार हे गौतम ! ऐसा कहा जाता है कि कृष्णलेश्या, नीललेश्या यावत शुक्ललेश्या को प्राप्त हो कर उन्हीं के रूप में यावत् उन्हीं के वर्णादिरूप में पुनः पुनः परिणत हो जाती है। 1223. से गूणं भंते ! णीललेस्सा किण्हस्लेसं जाव सुक्कलेस्सं पप्प तारूवत्ताए जाव भुज्जो भुज्जो परिणमति ? ___ हंता गोयमा! एवं चेव / [1223 प्र.] भगवन् ! क्या नीललेश्या, कृष्णलेश्या यावत् शुक्ललेश्या को पाकर उन्हीं के स्वरूप में यावत् (उन्हीं के वर्णादिरूप में) बार-बार परिणत होती है ?
