(भगवन् ! ) यदि (वे) संख्यातवर्षायुष्क कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न होते हैं तो क्या पर्याप्तक संख्यातवर्षायुष्क कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न होते हैं या अपर्याप्तक संख्यातवर्षायुष्क कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? [636-26 उ.] गौतम! पर्याप्तक संख्यातवर्षायुष्क कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न होते हैं, किन्तु अपर्याप्तक संख्यातवर्षायुष्क कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न नहीं होते। 640. एवं जहा ओहिया उवबाइया तहा रयणप्पभापुढविनेरइया वि उववाएयग्वा / [640] इसी प्रकार जैसे औधिक (सामान्य) नारकों के उपपात (उत्पत्ति) के विषय में कहा गया है, वैसे ही रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों के उपपात के विषय में कहना चाहिए। 641. सक्करप्पभापुढविनेरइयाणं पुच्छा। गोयमा ! एते वि जहा प्रोहिया तहेवोववाएयव्वा / नवरं सम्मुच्छिमेहितो पडिसेहो कातव्यो। [645 प्र.] शर्कराप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों की उत्पत्ति के विषय में पृच्छा ? [641 उ.] गौतम ! शर्कराप्रभापृथ्वी के नारकों का उपपात भी औधिक (सामान्य) नैरयिकों के उपपात की तरह ही समझना चाहिए / विशेष यह है कि सम्मूच्छिमों से (इनकी उत्पत्ति का) निषेध करना चाहिए / 642. वालुयप्पभापुढविनेरइया णं भंते ! कतोहिंतो उबवज्जति ? गोयमा ! जहा सक्करप्पभापुढविनेरइया / नवरं भुयपरिसपेहितो वि पडिसेहो कातव्वो। [642 प्र.] भगवन् ! वालुकाप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिक कहाँ से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? [642 उ.] गौतम ! जैसे शर्कराप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों की उत्पत्ति के विषय में कहा, वैसे ही इनकी उत्पत्ति के विषय में कहना चाहिए। विशेष यह है कि भुजपरिसर्प (पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्च) से (इनकी उत्पत्ति का) निषेध करना चाहिए / 643. पंकप्पभापुढविनेरइयाणं पुच्छा। गोयमा ! जहा वालुयप्पभापुढविनेरइया / नवरं खयरेहितो वि पडिसेहो कातव्यो / [643 प्र.] भगवन् ! पंकप्रभापृथ्वी के नै रयिक कहाँ से उत्पन्न होते हैं ?
