[प्रज्ञापनासूत्र गोयमा ! जलयरपंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिएहितो वि उववज्जति, थलयरपंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिहितो वि उववज्जंति, खहयरपंचेंदितिरिक्खजोणिएहितो वि उववति / [639-3 प्र.] भगवन् ! यदि (नैरयिक) पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं तो क्या वे जलचर पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? स्थलचरपंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? , (अथवा) खेचर पञ्चेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? (वे नैरयिक) जलचरपंचेन्द्रियतिर्यग्योनिकों से भी उत्पन्न होते हैं, स्थलचर-पंचेन्द्रिय-तिर्यग्योनिकों से भी उत्पन्न होते हैं और खेचर पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यग्योनिकों से भी उत्पन्न होते हैं। [4] जइ जलयरपंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिएहितो उववज्जति किं सम्मुच्छिमजलयरपंचेंदितिरिक्खजोणिहितो उवयजंति ? गम्भवक्कंतियजलयरपंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिएहितो उववज्जति ? गोयमा ! सम्मुच्छिमजलयरपंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिएहितो वि उववज्जंति, गम्भवतियजलयरपंचेंदिएहितो वि उववज्जति / [636-4 प्र.] (भगवन् !) यदि (वे नारक) जलचरपंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं, तो क्या सम्मूच्छिम जलचर पंचेन्द्रिय-तिर्यग्योनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? या गर्भज जलचरपंचेन्द्रियतिर्यग्योनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? [639-4 उ.] गौतम !
