पांचवां विशेषपद (पर्यायपद)] [ 393 तिर्यञ्चों (से सम्बन्धित पर्यायविषयक कथन करना चाहिए।) विशेष यह है कि ये अवगाहना की अपेक्षा से चतु:स्थानपतित हैं, तथा स्थिति की दृष्टि से चतुःस्थानपतित हैं / / 482. [1] जहण्णठितोयाणं भंते ! पंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणियाणं केवतिया पज्नवा पण्णता? गोयमा ! अणंता पज्जवा पण्णत्ता। से केणठेणं भंते ! एवं वुच्चति ? गोयमा ! जहण्णठितोए पंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिए जहन्नठितीयस्स पंचिदियतिरिक्खजोणियस्स दव्वट्ठयाए तुल्ले, पदेसट्टयाए तुल्ले, प्रोगाहणट्टयाए चउट्ठाणबडिते, ठितीए तुल्ले, वण्ण-गंध-रस-फासपज्जवेहिं दोहि अण्णाणेहि दोहि दंसणेहि छट्ठाणवडिते। _[482-1 प्र.] भगवन् ! जघन्य स्थिति वाले पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्चों के कितने पर्याय कहे गए हैं ? [482-1 उ.] गौतम ! (उनके) अनन्त पर्याय कहे गए हैं। [प्र.] भगवन् ! किस कारण से आप ऐसा कहते हैं कि 'जघन्य स्थिति वाले पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्चों के अनन्त पर्याय कहे हैं ?' [उ.] गौतम ! एक जघन्यस्थिति वाला पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्च दूसरे जघन्यस्थिति वाले पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्च से द्रव्य की अपेक्षा तुल्य है, प्रदेशों की अपेक्षा से (भी) तुल्य है, अवगाहना की अपेक्षा से चतुःस्थानपतित है, स्थिति की अपेक्षा से तुल्य है, तथा वर्ण, गन्ध, रस और स्पर्श के पर्यायों, दो अज्ञान एवं दो दर्शनों की अपेक्षा से षट्स्थानपतित है / [2] उक्कोसठितीए वि एवं चेव / नवरं दो नाणा दो अन्नाणा दो दंसणा। [482-2] उत्कृष्टस्थिति वाले पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यचों का पर्याय-विषयक कथन भी इसी प्रकार करना चाहिए। विशेष यह है कि इसमें दो ज्ञान, दो अज्ञान और दो दर्शनों (की प्ररूपणा करनी चाहिए / ) [3] अजहण्णमणुक्कोसठितीए वि एवं चेव / नवरं ठितीए चउट्ठाणवडिते, तिणि णाणा, तिण्णि अण्णाणा, तिण्णि दंसणा। [482-3) अजघन्य-अनुत्कृष्ट (मध्यम) स्थिति वाले पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्चों का (पर्याय विषयक कथन भी) इसी प्रकार (पूर्ववत् करना चाहिए।) विशेष यह है कि स्थिति की अपेक्षा से (यह) चतुःस्थानपतित हैं, तथा (इनमें) तीन ज्ञान, तीन अज्ञान और तीन दर्शनों (की प्ररूपणा करन चाहिए / ) 483.
