156] [ प्रज्ञापनासूत्र एक हजार योजन अवगाहन करके और नीचे एक हजार योजन छोड़ कर बीच में एक लाख अठहत्तर हजार योजन (प्रदेश) में, पर्याप्त और अपर्याप्त नागकुमार देवों के चौरासी लाख भवनावास (भवन) हैं, ऐसा कहा है। वे भवन बाहर से गोल और अन्दर से चौरस (चौकोर) हैं, यावत् प्रतिरूप (अत्यन्त सुन्दर) हैं तक, (सू. 177 के अनुसार सारा वर्णन जानना चाहिए।) वहाँ (पूर्वोक्त भवनावासों में) पर्याप्त और अपर्याप्त नागकुमार देवों के स्थान कहे गए हैं। तानो अपेक्षाओं से (उपपात, समुद्घात और स्वस्थान की अपेक्षा से) (वे स्थान) लोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में हैं / वहाँ बहुत-से नागकुमार देव निवास करते हैं। वे महद्धिक हैं, महाधुति वाले हैं, इत्यादि शेष वर्णन, यावत् विचरण करते हैं (विहरंति) तक, औघिकों (सामान्य भवनवासी देवों) के समान (सू. 177 के अनुसार समझना चाहिए।) [2] धरण-भूयाणंदा एत्थ दुहे णागकुमारिदा णागकुमाररायाणो परिवसंति महिड्ढीया, सेसं जहा प्रोहियाणं जाव (सु. 177) विहरंति / [181-2] यहाँ (इन्हीं पूर्वोक्त स्थानों में) जो दो नागकुमारेन्द्र नागकुमारराज-धरणेन्द्र और भूतानन्देन्द्र-निवास करते हैं, (वे) महद्धिक हैंशेष वर्णन औधिकों (सामान्य भवनवासियों) के समान (सूत्र 177 के अनुसार) यावत् विचरण करते हैं' (विहरंति) तक समझना चाहिए। 182. [1] कहि णं भंते ! दाहिणिल्लाणं णागकुमाराणं देवाणं पज्जत्ताऽपज्जत्ताणं ठाणा पणत्ता ? कहिणं भंते ! दाहिणिल्ला णागकुमारा देवा परिवसंति ? गोयमा ! जंबहीवे दीवे मंदरस्स पव्वयस्स दाहिणणं इमोसे रयणप्पभाए पुढवीए प्रसीउत्तरजोयणसयसहस्सबाहल्लाए उरि एग जोयणसहस्सं प्रोगाहेत्ता हेट्ठा वेगं जोयणसहस्सं बज्जेत्ता मज्झे अट्ठहत्तरे जोयणसयसहस्से, एत्थ णं दाहिणिल्लागं गागकुमाराणं देवाणं चोयालीसं भवणावाससयसहस्सा भवंतीति मक्खातं / ते गं भवणा बाहिं वट्टा अंतो चउरंसा जाव' पडिरूवा। एत्थ णं दाहिणिल्लाणं णागकुमाराणं देवाणं पज्जत्ताऽपज्जत्ताणं ठाणा पण्णत्ता / तिसु वि लोगस्स असंखेज्जइभागे। एत्थ णं बहवे दाहिणिल्ला नागकुमारा देवा परिवसंति महिड्ढीया जाव (सू. 177) विहरति / [182-1 प्र.] भगवन् ! पर्याप्त और अपर्याप्त दाक्षिणात्य नागकुमारों के स्थान कहाँ कहे गए हैं ? भगवन् ! दाक्षिणात्य नागकुमार देव कहाँ निवास करते हैं ? [182-1 उ.] गौतम ! जम्बूद्वीप नामक द्वीप में सुमेरुपर्वत के दक्षिण में, एक लाख अस्सी हजार मोटी इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के ऊपर एक हजार योजन अवगाह करके और नीचे एक हजार योजन छोड़ कर, मध्य में एक लाख अठहत्तर हजार योजन (प्रदेश) में, यहाँ दाक्षिणात्य नागकुमार देवों के चवालीस लाख भवन हैं, ऐसा कहा गया है। वे भवन (भवनावास) बाहर से गोल और भीतर से चौरस हैं, यावत् प्रतिरूप (अतीव सुन्दर) हैं। यहाँ (इन्हीं भवनावासों में) दाक्षिणात्य पर्याप्त और अपर्याप्त नागकुमारों के स्थान कहे गए हैं। 1.
