छत्तीसर्वा समुदघातपद] [283 आहारकलब्धि के धारक हों / अतएव चौदह पूर्वो के पाठक और आहारकलब्धि के धारक मुनिवर जब पाहारकसमुद्घात करते हैं, तब जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट रूप से पूर्वोक्त क्षेत्र को प्रात्मप्रदेशों से पृथक् किये पुद्गलों से एक दिशा में आपूर्ण और स्पृष्ट करते हैं, विदिशा में नहीं / विदिशा में जो प्रापूर्ण स्पृष्ट होता है, उसके लिए दूसरे प्रयत्न की अावश्यकता होती है, किन्तु आहारकलब्धि के धारक तथा आहारकसमुद्घात करने वाले मुनि इतने गंभीर होते हैं कि उन्हें वैसा कोई प्रयोजन नहीं होता / अतः वे दूसरा प्रयत्न नहीं करते / इसी प्रकार आहारकसमुद्घातगत कोई जीव मृत्यु को प्राप्त होता है और विग्रहगति से उत्पन्न होता है, और वह विग्रह अधिक से अधिक तीन समय का होता है। अन्य सब आहारकसमुद्घातविषयक कथन वेदनासमुद्घात के समान जानना चाहिए।' दण्डककम से आहारकसमुद्घात की वक्तव्यता क्यों? यद्यपि आहारकसमुद्घात मनुष्यों को ही होता है, अतएव समुच्चय जीवपद में जो आहारकसमुद्घात की प्ररूपणा की गई है, उसमें मनुष्य का अन्तर्भाव हो ही जाता है, तथापि दण्डकक्रम से विशेषरूप से प्राप्त मनुष्य के प्राहारकसमुद्घात का भी उल्लेख किया गया है / इस कारण यहाँ पुनरुक्तिदोष की कल्पना नहीं करनी चाहिए।' केवलिसमुद्घात-समवहत अनगार के निर्जीर्ण अन्तिम पुद्गलों को लोकव्यापिता 2168. अणगारस्स णं भंते ! भावियप्पणो केवलिसमग्याएणं समोहयस्स जे चरिमा णिज्जरापोग्गला सुहुमा णं ते पोग्गला पण्णत्ता समणाउसो! सव्वलोग पि य णं ते फुसित्ता णं चिट्ठति ? __ हंता गोयमा! अणगारस्स भावियप्पणो केवलिसमग्घाएणं समोहयस्स जे चरिमा णिज्जरापोग्गला सुहुमा णं ते पोग्गला पण्णत्ता समणाउसो! सव्वलोग पि य णं ते फुसित्ता गं चिट्ठति। [2168 प्र.] भगवन् ! केवलिसमुद्घात से समवहत भावितात्मा अनगार के जो चरम (अन्तिम) निर्जरा-पुद्गल हैं, हे आयुष्मन् श्रमणप्रवर ! क्या वे पुद्गल सूक्ष्म कहे गए हैं ? क्या वे समस्त लोक को स्पर्श करके रहते हैं ?
