110 [प्रज्ञापनासूत्र एकेन्द्रियों में आहारार्थो आदि सात द्वार (2-8) 1807. पुढविकाइया णं भंते ! आहारट्ठी ? हता! पाहारट्ठी। [1807 प्र.] भगवन् ! क्या पृथ्वीकायिक जीव आहारार्थी होते हैं ? [1807 उ.] हाँ गौतम ! वे आहारार्थी होते हैं। 1808. पुढविक्काइयाणं भंते ! केवतिकालस्स आहारट्टे समुष्पज्जति ? गोयमा ! अणुसमयं प्रविरहिए आहारट्टे समुष्पज्जति / / [1808 प्र.] भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों को कितने काल में प्राहार की अभिलाषा उत्पन्न होती है ? [1808 उ.] गौतम ! उन्हें प्रतिसमय बिना विरह के आहार की अभिलाषा उत्पन्न होती है। 1806. पुढविक्काइया णं भंते ! किमाहारमाहारेंति ? एवं जहा रइयाणं (सु. 1797-1800) जाव ताई भंते ! कति दिसि पाहारति ? गोयमा ! णिवाघाएणं छदिसि, वाघायं पडुच्च सिय तिदिसि सिय चदिसि सिय पंचदिसि, णवरं पोसण्णकारणं ण भवति, वण्णतो काल-णील-लोहिय-हालिद्द-सुक्किलाई, गंधनो सुन्भिगंधदुभिगंधाई, रसनो तित्त-कडुय-कसाय-अंबिल-महुराई, फासतो कक्खड-मउय-गरुन-लहुय-सीय-उसिणणिड-लुक्खाई, तेसि पोराणे वणगुणे सेसं जहा णेरइयाणं (सु. 1801-2) जाव पाहच्च णीससंति / [1806 प्र.] भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक जीव किस वस्तु का अाहार करते हैं ? [1806 उ.] गौतम ! इस विषय का कथन (सू 1797-1800 में उक्त) नैरयिकों के कथन के समान जानना चाहिए; यावत्-[प्र] पृथ्वीकायिक जीव कितनी दिशाओं से आहार करते हैं ? [उ.] गौतम ! यदि व्याघात (रुकावट) न हो तो वे (नियम से) छहों दिशाओं में स्थित और छहों दिशाप्रों) से (आगत द्रव्यों का) आहार करते हैं। यदि व्याघात हो तो कदाचित् तीन दिशाओं से, कदाचित् चार दिशाओं से और कदाचित् पांच दिशाओं से प्रागत द्रव्यों का आहार करते हैं / विशेष यह है कि (पृथ्वीकायिकों के सम्बन्ध में) बाहुल्य कारण नहीं कहा जाता / (पृथ्वीकायिक जीव) वर्ण से-कृष्ण, नील, रक्त, पीत मौर श्वेत, गन्ध से-सुगन्ध और दुर्गन्ध वाले, रस से-तिक्त, कटुक, कषाय, अम्ल और मधुर रस वाले और स्पर्श से-कर्कश, मृदु, गुरु (भारी), लघु (हल्का), शीत, उष्ण, स्निग्ध और रूक्ष स्पर्श वाले (द्रव्यों का प्राहार करते हैं) तथा उन (आहार किये जाने वाले पुद्गलद्रव्यों) के पुराने वर्ण आदि गुण नष्ट हो जाते हैं, इत्यादि शेष सब कथन (सू. 1801-2 में उक्त) नारकों के कथन के समान यावत् कदाचित् उच्छ्वास और नि:श्वास लेते हैं; (यहाँ तक जानना चाहिए / ) 1810. पुढविक्काइया णं भंते ! जे पोग्गले अाहारत्ताए गेण्हंति तेसि गंभंते ! पोग्गलाणं सेयालंसि कतिभागं प्राहारेंति कतिभागं आसाएंति ? गोयमा ! असंखेज्जतिभागं प्राहारेंति अणंतभागं प्रासाएंति /
