इक्कीसवाँ अवगाहनासंस्थानपर] [481 * इसके बाद यह विचारणा एकवचन और बहुवचन के रूप में की गई है कि प्राणातिपात आदि 18 पापस्थानों से विरत जीव कितनी-कितनी कर्मप्रकृतियों का बंध कर सकता है ? इसमें बंध के अनेक भंग (विकल्प) बताए हैं / ' * तत्पश्चात यह चर्चा प्रस्तुत की गई है कि प्राणातिपात आदि पापस्थानों से विरत सामान्य जीव में या चौबीसदण्डक के किस जीव में 5 क्रियाओं में से कौन-कौन-सी क्रियाएँ होती हैं? * और अन्त में, आरम्भिकी आदि पाँचों क्रियाओं के अल्पबहुत्व की प्ररूपणा की गई है / इस अल्पबहुत्व का आधार यह है कि कौन-सी क्रिया कम अथवा अधिक प्राणियों के हैं ? मिथ्यादृष्टि के तो प्रथम मिथ्यादर्शन प्रत्यया क्रिया होती है जबकि अप्रत्याख्यानक्रिया अविरत सम्यग्दष्टि एवं मिथ्यादृष्टि दोनों के होती है। इसी दृष्टि से आगे की क्रियाएँ उत्तरोत्तर अधिक बताई गई हैं / इस समस्त क्रियाविवरण से इतना स्पष्ट है कि कायिकी आदि पांच, 18 पापस्थानों से निष्पन्न क्रियाएँ, तथा प्रारम्भिकी आदि पांच क्रियाएँ प्रत्येक जीव के आत्मविकास में अवरोधरूप हैं, इनका त्याग प्रात्मा को मुक्त एवं स्वतन्त्र करने के लिए आवश्यक है। भगवतीसूत्र में स्पष्ट बताया गया है, श्रमण को भी जब तक प्रमाद और योग है, तब तक क्रिया लगती है। जहाँ तक क्रिया है, वहाँ तक मुक्ति नहीं है।' * परन्तु इस समग्र क्रियाविवरण में ईर्यापथिक और साम्परायिक ये जो क्रिया के दो भेद बाद में प्रचलित हुए हैं, उन्हें स्थान नहीं मिला / यह क्रियाविचार को प्राचीनता सूचित करता है। इसके अतिरिक्त स्थानांगसूत्र में सूचित 25 क्रियाएँ अथवा सूत्रकृतांग में वर्णित 13 क्रियास्थानों का प्रज्ञापना के क्रियापद में उक्त प्राणातिपात आदि 18 पापस्थानजन्य क्रियाओं में समावेश हो जाता है / कुछ का समावेश कायिकी आदि 5 में तथा प्रारम्भिकी आदि 5 में हो जाता है / / D 1. वही, पृ. 360 2. वही, पृ. 361-362 3. देखो, भगवती 3 / 3 सू. 151, 152, 153 4.
