नंदीश्वर द्वीप की वक्तव्यता) पुण्णभद्दमाणिभद्दा य (पुग्णपुण्णभद्दा य) इत्थ दुवे देवा जाव परिवसंति, सेसं तहेव / जोइस संखेज्जं चंदा०। 182. (आ) गोल और वलयाकार क्षोदवर नाम का द्वीप घृतोदसमुद्र को सब ओर से घेरे हुए स्थित है, आदि वर्णन अर्थपर्यन्त पूर्ववत् कहना चाहिए। क्षोदवरद्वीप में जगह-जगह छोटी-छोटी बावड़ियां आदि हैं जो क्षोदोदग (इक्षुरस) से परिपूर्ण हैं / वहां उत्पात पर्वत आदि हैं जो सर्ववैडूर्यरत्नमय यावत् प्रतिरूप हैं। वहां सुप्रभ और महाप्रभ नाम के दो महद्धिक देव रहते हैं / इस कारण यह क्षोदवरद्वीप कहा जाता है / यहां संख्यात-संख्यात चन्द्र, सूर्य, ग्रह, नक्षत्र और तारागण कोटिकोटि हैं। इस क्षोदवरद्वीप को क्षोदोद नाम का समुद्र सब ओर से घेरे हुए है। यह गोल और वलयाकार है यावत् संख्यात लाख योजन का विष्कंभ और परिधि वाला है आदि सब कथन अर्थ सम्बन्धी प्रश्न तक पूर्ववत् जानना चाहिए। अथे इस प्रकार है-हे गौतम ! क्षोदोदसमुद्र का पानी जातिवंत श्रेष्ठ इक्षरस से भी अधिक इष्ट यावत मन को तृप्ति देने वाला है। वह इक्ष रस स्वादिष्ट, गाढ, प्र विश्रान्त, स्निग्ध और सुकुमार भूमिभाग में निपुण कृषिकार द्वारा काष्ठ के सुन्दर विशिष्ट हल से जोती गई भूमि में जिस इक्षु का आरोपण किया गया है और निपुण पुरुष के द्वारा जिसका संरक्षण किया गया हो, तृणरहित भूमि में जिसकी वृद्धि हुई हो और इससे जो निर्मल एवं पककर विशेष रूप से मोटी हो गई हो और मधुररस से जो युक्त बन गई हो, शीतकाल के जन्तुओं के उपद्रव से रहित हो, ऊपर और नीचे की जड़ का भाग निकाल कर और उसकी गाँठों को भी अलग कर बलवंत बैलों द्वारा यंत्र से निकाला गया हो तथा वस्त्र से छाना गया हो और चार प्रकार के--(दालचीनी, इलायची, केशर, कालीमिर्च) सुगंधित द्रव्यों से युक्त किया गया हो, अधिक पथ्यकारी और पचने में हल्का हो तथा शुभ वर्ण गंध रस स्पर्श से समन्वित हो, ऐसे इक्षुरस के समान क्या क्षोदोद का पानी है ? गौतम ! इससे भी अधिक इष्टतर यावत् मन को तृप्ति करने वाला है। पूर्णभद्र और माणिभद्र (पूर्ण और पूर्णभद्र) नाम के दो महद्धिक देव यहां रहते हैं। इस कारण यह क्षोदोदसमुद्र कहा जाता है / शेष कथन पूर्ववत् करना चाहिए यावत् वहां संख्यात-संख्यात चन्द्र, सूर्य, ग्रह, नक्षत्र और तारागणकोटि-कोटि शोभित थे, शोभित हैं और शोभित होंगे। नंदीश्वरद्वीप को वक्तव्यता 183.
