जीवाभिगम पर प्राचार्य श्री प्रमोलक ऋषि जी म. ने प्रागम-बत्तीसी के साथ हिन्दी अनुवाद किया वह अनुवाद भावानुवाद के रूप में है। इसके पश्चात् स्थानकवासी परम्परा के प्राचार्य श्री घासीलाल जी म. ने जीवाभिगम पर संस्कृत में अपनी विस्तृत टीका लिखी। इस टीका का हिन्दी और गुजराती में भी अनुवाद प्रकाशित हुमा / इसके अतिरिक्त जीवाभिगम को सन् 1883 में मलयगिरि वृत्ति सहित गुजराती विवेचन के साथ रायबहादुर धनपतसिंह ने अहमदाबाद से प्रकाशित किया / देवचन्द लालभाईपुस्तकोद्धारक फण्ड, बम्बई से सन् 1919 में जीवाभिगम का मलयगिरि वृत्ति सहित प्रकाशन हया है। पर हिन्दी में ऐसे प्रकाशन की आवश्यकता चिरकाल से अनुभव की जा रही थी जो अनुवाद सरल-सुगम और मूल विषय को स्पष्ट करने वाला हो। स्वर्गीय युवाचार्य श्री मधुकर मुनिजी ने जन प्रागम प्रकाशन समिति का निर्माण किया। उस समिति के द्वारा अनेक मूर्धन्य मनीषियों के द्वारा प्रागमों का अनुवाद और विवेचन प्रकाशित हुमा। उसी क्रम में प्रस्तुत जीवाभिगम का भी प्रकाशन हो रहा है / यह अत्यन्त प्राह्लाद का विषय है कि बहुत ही स्वल्प समय में अनेक मनीषियों के सहयोग के कारण प्रागम-बत्तीसी का कार्य प्रायः पूर्ण होने जा रहा है। प्रस्तुत प्रागम का सम्पादन मेरे सुशिष्य श्री राजेन्द्र मुनि के द्वारा हो रहा है। राजेन्द्र मुनि एक युवा मुनि हैं / इसके पूर्व उन्होंने उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र का भी सुन्दर सम्पादन किया था और अब द्रव्यानुयोग का यह अपूर्व मागम सम्पादन कर अपनी प्रागमरुचि का परिचय दिया है। अनुवाद और विवेचन मूल प्रागम के भावों को सुस्पष्ट करने में सक्षम हैं। प्रस्तुत सम्पादन जन-जन के मन को भाएगा और वे इस पागम का स्वाध्याय कर अपने ज्ञान की अभिवृद्धि करेंगे, ऐसी भाशा है। में प्रस्तुत प्रामम पर पूर्व प्रागमों की प्रस्तावनामों की तरह विस्तृत प्रस्तावना लिखना चाहता था पर सामाजिक कार्यों में और भीड़-भरे वातावरण में चाहते हुए भी नहीं लिख सका / संक्षिप्त में जो प्रस्तावना दी जा रही है, उससे भी पाठकों को प्रागम की महत्ता का सहज परिज्ञान हो सकेगा। परम श्रद्धेय महामहिम राष्ट्रसन्त प्राचार्यसम्राट् श्री प्रानन्द ऋषिजी म. को असीम कृपा मुझ पर रही है और परमादरणीय पूज्य गुरुदेव श्री पुष्कर मुनिजी म. का हादिक आशीर्वाद मेरे साथ है। इन महान पुरुषों की कृपा के कारण ही में प्राज कुछ भी प्रगति कर सका है। इनकी सदा सर्वदा कृपा बनी रहे, इनकी निर्मल छत्र-छाया में हम अपना प्राध्यात्मिक समुत्कर्ष करते रहें, यही मंगल-मनीषा। मन्दसौर. दिनांक 10-3-89 - उपाचार्य देवेन्द्र मुनि [ 36 ]
