तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति: एकोहक मनुष्यों की स्थिति आदि] [321 शष्कुलिकर्ण नाम के चार द्वीप हैं / एकोहक द्वीप के आगे ह्यकर्ण है, पाभाषिक के आगे गजकर्ण, वैषाणिक के आगे गोकर्ण और लांगूलिक के आगे शकुलिकर्ण द्वीप है। इसके अनन्तर इन हयकर्ण आदि चारों द्वीपों से आगे पांच-पांच सौ योजन की दूरी पर चार द्वीप हैं जो पांच-पांच सौ योजन लम्बे-चौड़े हैं और पूर्ववत् चारों विदिशाओं में स्थित हैं / इनकी परिधि विशेषाधिक 1521 योजन को है / ये पूर्वोक्त पद्मवरवेदिका तथा वनखण्ड से सुशोभित हैं / जम्बूद्वीप को वेदिका से ये 500 योजनप्रमाण अन्तर वाले हैं। इनके नाम हैं-आदर्शमुख, मेण्ढमुख, अयोमुख और गोमुख / इनमें से हयकर्ण के आगे आदर्शमुख, गजकर्ण के प्रागे मेण्ढ मुख, गोकर्ण के आगे अयोमुख और शकूलिकण के आगे गोमुखद्वीप हैं। इन आदर्शमुख आदि चारों द्वीपों के आगे छह-छह सौ योजन की दूरी पर पूर्वोत्तरादि विदिशाओं में फिर चार द्वीप हैं-प्रश्वमुख, हस्तिमुख, सिंहमुख और व्याघ्रमुख / ये चारों द्वीप छह सो योजन लम्बे-चौड़े और 1897 योजन से कुछ अधिक परिधि वाले हैं। पूर्वोक्त पद्मवरवेदिका और वनखंड से शोभित हैं / जम्बूद्वीप की वेदिका से 600 योजन की दूरी पर स्थित हैं। इन अश्वमुख प्रादि चारों द्वीपों के आगे क्रमशः पूर्वोत्तरादि विदिशाओं में 700-700 योजन की दूरी पर 700 योजन लम्बे-चौड़े और 2213 योजन से कुछ अधिक की परिधि वाले पूर्वोक्त पद्मवरवेदिका और वनखण्ड से घिरे हुए एवं जम्बूद्वीप की वेदिका से 700 योजन के अन्तर पर अश्वकर्ण, हरिकर्ण, अकर्ण और कर्णप्रावरण नाम के चार द्वीप हैं / फिर इन्हीं अश्वकर्ण आदि चार द्वीपों के आगे यथाक्रम से पूर्वोत्तरादि विदिशाओं में 800800 योजन दूर जाने पर आठ सौ योजन लम्बे-चौड़े, 2529 योजन से कुछ अधिक परिधि वाले, पद्मवरवेदिका और बनखंड से सुशोभित, जम्बूद्वीप की वेदिका से 800 योजन दूरी पर उल्कामुख, मेघमुख, विद्युन्मुख और विद्युद्दन्त नाम के चार द्वीप हैं / तदनन्तर इन्हीं उल्कामुख आदि चारों द्वीपों के आगे क्रमशः पूर्वोत्तरादि विदिशाओं में 900900 योजन की दरी पर नौ सौयोजन लम्बे-चौडे तथा 2845 योजन से कुछ अधिक परिधि वाले, पद्मवरवेदिका और वनखण्ड से परिमंडित, जम्बूद्वीप की वेदिका से 900 योजन के अन्तर पर चार द्वीप और हैं, जिनके नाम क्रमश ये हैं-घनदन्त, लष्टदन्त, गूढदन्त और शुद्धदन्त / हिमवान् पर्वत की दाढों पर चारों विदिशात्रों में स्थित ये सब द्वीप (744-28) अट्ठाईस हैं। शिखरी पर्वत की दाढों पर भी इसी प्रकार 28 अन्तरद्वोप हैं। शिखरीपर्वत की लवणसमुद्र में गई दाढों पर, लवणासमुद्र के जलस्पर्श से लेकर पूर्वोक्त दूरी पर पूर्वोक्त प्रमाण वाले, चारों विदिशाओं में स्थित एकोरुक आदि उन्हीं नामों वाले अट्ठाईस द्वीप हैं / इनकी लम्बाई-चौड़ाई, परिधि, नाम आदि सब पूर्ववत् हैं / दोनों मिलाकर छप्पन अन्तरद्वीप हैं / इन द्वोपों में रहने वाले मनुष्य अन्तरद्वीपिक मनुष्य कहे जाते हैं। यहाँ अन्तरद्वीपिका का वर्णन पूरा होता है / 113. से कि तं अकम्मभूभगमणुस्सा ? अकम्मभूमगमणुस्सा तीसविहा पण्णत्ता, तंजहा-पंचहि हेमवएहि, एवं जहा पण्णवणापवे जाव पंचर्चाहं उत्तरकुहिं से तं अकम्मभूमगा।
