तृतीय प्रतिपति : पृथ्वीकायिकों के विषय में विशेष जानकारी [281 विवेचन -प्रस्तुत सूत्र में पृथ्वीकायिक आदि के विषय में कई विशिष्ट विषयों का उल्लेख करने के लिए पुनः पृथ्वी विषयक प्रश्न किये गये हैं / पृथ्वी के प्रकारों के सम्बन्ध में किये गये प्रश्न के उत्तर में प्रभु ने फरमाया है कि पृथ्वी छह प्रकार की है 1. श्लक्ष्णापृथ्वी-यह मृदु मुलायम मिट्टी का वाचक है। यह चूर्णित आटे के समान मुलायम होती है। 2. शुद्धपृथ्वी-पर्वतादि के मध्य में जो मिट्टी है वह शुद्धपृथ्वी है / 3. बालुकापृथ्वी-बारीक रेत बालुकापृथ्वी है। 4. मनःशिलापृथ्वी-मैनशिल आदि मनःशिलापृथ्वी है / 5. शर्करापृथ्वी-कंकर, मुरुण्ड आदि शर्करापृथ्वी है / 6. खरापृथ्वी--पाषाण रूप पृथ्वी खरापृथ्वी है।। उक्त छह प्रकार की पृथ्वी का निरूपण करने के पश्चात् उनकी कालस्थिति के विषय में प्रश्न किये गये हैं। उत्तर में कहा गया है कि --- .. 1. श्लक्ष्णापृथ्वी की स्थिति जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त और उत्कृष्ट एक हजार वर्ष है / 2. शुद्धपृथ्वी की जघन्य स्थिति अन्तर्मुहुर्त और उत्कृष्ट बारह हजार वर्ष है। 3. बालुकापृथ्वी की स्थिति जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त और उत्कृष्ट चौदह हजार वर्ष है। 4. मनः शिलापृथ्वी की स्थिति जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त और उत्कृष्ट सोलह हजार वर्ष है। 5. शर्करापृथ्वी की स्थिति जघन्य अन्तर्मुहुर्त और उत्कृष्ट अठारह हजार वर्ष है। 6. खरपृथ्वी की जघन्य स्थिति अन्तर्मुहुर्त और उत्कृष्ट बावीस हजार वर्ष है।' पृथ्वीस्थिति यन्त्र पृथ्वी का प्रकार जघन्य उत्कृष्ट स्थिति 1. श्लक्ष्णापृथ्वी अन्तर्मुहूर्त एक हजार वर्ष 2. शुद्धपृथ्वो बारह हजार वर्ष 3. बालुकापृथ्वी चौदह हजार वर्ष 4. मनःशिलापृथ्वी सोलह हजार वर्ष 5. शर्करापृथ्वी अठारह हजार वर्ष 6. खरपृथ्वी बावीस हजार वर्ष स्थितिनिरूपण का प्रसंग होने से चौवीस दण्डक के क्रम से नैरयिकों आदि की स्थिति के विषय में प्रश्न हैं। ये प्रश्न और उनके उत्तर प्रज्ञापनापद के चतुर्थ स्थितिपद के अनुसार सर्वार्थसिद्ध के देवों तक की स्थिति तक समझ लेना चाहिए। वहाँ विस्तार के साथ स्थिति का वर्णन है / अतएव यहाँ उसका उल्लेख न करते हुए वहाँ से जान लेने की सूचना की गई है। यह भवस्थिति विषयक कथन करने के पश्चात कायस्थितिविषयक प्रश्न है कि जीव कितने समय तक जीवरूप में 1. सण्हा य सुद्ध बालुन मणोसिला सक्करा य खरपुढवी। इग बार चोदस सोलढार बावीस समसहस्सा // 1 //
