आशातना है।
२४. शैक्ष रानिक साधु से कथा करते हुये 'जी, हाँ' आदि शब्दों से अनुमोदना न करे तो यह शैक्ष की चौबीसवीं आशातना है।
२५. शैक्ष रालिक द्वारा धर्मकथा करते समय 'तुम्हें स्मरण नहीं' इस प्रकार से बोले तो यह शैक्ष की पच्चीसवीं आशातना है।
२६. शैक्ष रात्निक द्वारा धर्मकथा करते समय 'बस करो' इत्यादि कहे तो यह शैक्ष की छब्बीसवीं आशातना है।
२७. शैक्ष रालिक द्वारा धर्मकथा करते समय यदि परिषद् को भेदन करे, तो यह शैक्ष की सत्ताईसवीं आशातना है।
२८. शैक्ष रात्निक साधु द्वारा धर्मकथा कहते हुये उस सभा के नहीं उठने पर दूसरी या तीसरी बार भी उसी कथा को कहे तो यह शैक्ष की अट्ठाईसवीं आशातना है।
२९. शैक्ष यदि रानिक साधु के शय्या, संस्तारक को पैर से ठुकरावे तो यह शैक्ष की उनतीसवीं आशातना है।
३०. शैक्ष यदि रात्निक साधु के शय्या या आसन पर खड़ा होता, बैठता, सोता है, तो यह शैक्ष की तीसवीं आशातना है।
___ ३१, ३२. शैक्ष यदि रानिक साधु से ऊँचे या समान आसन पर बैठता है, तो यह शैक्ष की इकतीसवीं, बत्तीसवीं आशातना है।
३३. रात्निक के कुछ कहने पर शैक्ष अपने आसन पर बैठा-बैठा उत्तर दे, यह शैक्ष की तेतीसवीं आशातना है।
विवेचन – नवीन दीक्षित साधु का कर्तव्य है कि वह अपने आचार्य, उपाध्याय और दीक्षापर्याय में ज्येष्ठ साधु का चलते, उठते, बैठते समय उनके द्वारा कुछ पूछने पर, गोचरी करते समय, सदा ही उनके विनय-सम्मान का ध्यान रखे। यदि वह अपने इस कर्तव्य में चूकता है, तो उनकी आशातना करता है और अपने मोक्ष के साधनों को खंडित करता है । इसी बात को ध्यान में रखकर ये तेतीस आशातनाएँ कही गई हैं। प्रकृत सूत्र में चार आशातनाओं का निर्देश कर शेष की यावत् पद से सूचना की गई है। उनका दशाश्रुतस्कंध के अनुसार स्वरूप-निरूपण किया गया है। ॥ तृतीय आवश्यक सम्पन्न।
