[४०१ इस उद्देशक के ३१ सूत्रों के विषय का कथन अन्य आगमों में नहीं है, यथा--
अत्यावश्यक प्रयोजन के बिना नौका विहार का निषेध । १७-३२ नौका विहार के समय जल, स्थल, कीचड़ एवं नौका में आहार ग्रहण नहीं करना। ३७-३९ । इन चौदह सूत्रों के विषय चौदहवें उद्देशक के सूत्र ५-७ तथा ३१ से ४१ तक के ६३-७३ ) समान वस्त्र के लिये समझना । ____ इस उद्देशक में वस्त्र एवं नौका इन दो विषयों का प्रायश्चित्त ७३ सूत्रों में कहा गया है, अन्य कोई विषय नहीं है यह इस उद्देशक की विशेषता है।
