[ निशीथसूत्र
१४०-१५४. जो भिक्षु खेत यावत् भवनगृहों के शब्द सुनने के संकल्प से जाता है या जाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है इत्यादि १२वें उद्देशक के समान यहाँ भी सभी सूत्र, 'शब्दश्रवण के आलापक' से जानना यावत् जो भिक्षु अनेक बैलगाड़ियों के यावत् अन्य अनेक प्रकार के महाप्राश्रव वाले स्थानों में शब्द सुनने के संकल्प से जाता है या जाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है ।
१५५. जो भिक्षु -
१. इहलौकिक शब्दों में, २. पारलौकिक शब्दों में, ३. दृष्ट शब्दों में, ४. अदृष्ट शब्दों में, ५. पूर्व सुने हुए शब्दों में, ६. प्रश्रुत शब्दों में, ७. ज्ञात शब्दों में, ८. अज्ञात शब्दों में प्रासक्त, अनुरक्त, गृद्ध और अत्यधिक गृद्ध होता है या ग्रासक्त, अनुरक्त, गृद्ध और अत्यधिक गृद्ध होने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है ।
इन १५५ सूत्रों में कहे गये स्थानों का सेवन करने पर लघुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है । विवेचन - इन १६ सूत्रों का संपूर्ण विवेचन १२वें उद्देशक के अनुसार जानना चाहिए, चूर्णिकार ने भी यही सूचन किया है ।
