[निशीथसूत्र ८. जे भिक्खू सचित्त-पइट्ठियं अंबं विडंसइ, विडंसंतं वा साइज्जइ ।

११. जो भिक्षु सचित्त-प्रतिष्ठित ग्राम की यावत् प्राम की केसरात्रों को खाता है या खाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है।
१२. जो भिक्षु सचित्त-प्रतिष्ठित आम को यावत् आम की केसराओं को चूसता है या चूसने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है। [उसे लघुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त पाता है ।
विवेचन-इन सूत्रों में सचित्त आम्र फल खाने का प्रायश्चित्त कहा है। यहां भाष्यकार ने उपलक्षण से अन्य सभी प्रकार के सचित्त फलों के खाने का प्रायश्चित्त भी इन सूत्रों से समझ लेने का सूचित किया है।
