[३२१ __२७. जो भिक्षु दीमक आदि जीव-युक्त काष्ठ पर तथा अंडे युक्त स्थान पर यावत् मकड़ी के जाले से युक्त स्थान पर पात्र को सुखाता है या सुखाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है।
२८. जो भिक्षु स्तम्भ, देहली, ऊखल या स्नान करने की चौकी पर अथवा अन्य भी ऐसे अंतरिक्षजात (आकाशीय) स्थान पर, जो कि भलीभांति बंधा हुआ नहीं है यावत् चलाचल है, वहाँ पात्र को सुखाता है या सुखाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है।
२९. जो भिक्षु मिट्टी की दीवार पर, ईंट की दीवार पर, शिला पर या शिलाखण्ड आदि पर अथवा अन्य भी ऐसे अंतरिक्षजात [आकाशीय] स्थान पर, जो कि भलीभांति बंधा हुआ नहीं हैं यावत् चलाचल है, वहां पात्र को सुखाता है या सुखाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है ।

विवेचन-पाचा. श्रु. २, अ. ६, उ. १ में उक्त ग्यारह स्थानों में पात्र को सुखाने का निषेध है। इनमें से आठ स्थानों का निषेध केवल जीव-विराधना के कारण है और शेष तीन स्थानों में जीव-विराधना के साथ-साथ पात्र के गिर जाने पर उसके फूट जाने की तथा साधु के गिर जाने की भी सम्भावना रहती है। अतः ऊपर से पात्र न गिरे ऐसे सुरक्षित स्थान में पात्र सुखाए जा सकते हैं।
पूर्व सूत्र में पात्र धोने का प्रायश्चित्त कहा है । किसी विशेष कारण से धोने के बाद धूप में सुखाने की आवश्यकता हो तो अयोग्य स्थानों में सुखाने का यहां प्रायश्चित्त कहा गया है।
इन ग्यारह सूत्रों में आये हुए शब्दों के विशेषार्थ और विवेचन तेरहवें उद्देशक के प्रारम्भ के ग्यारह सूत्रों में दे दिए हैं । वहां उक्त स्थानों में खड़े रहने या ठहरने आदि के प्रायश्चित्त कहे हैं। यहां उन्हीं स्थानों में पात्र सुखाने का प्रायश्चित्त कहा है। इसी प्रकार इन ग्यारह स्थानों में मल-मूत्र त्यागने का तथा वस्त्र सुखाने का प्रायश्चित्त सोलहवें और अठारहवें उद्देशक में है। सर्वत्र ग्यारह सूत्र समान हैं। त्रस प्राणी प्रादि निकालकर पात्र ग्रहण करने के प्रायश्चित्त
