आने वाले साधु के आने का कारण जाने बिना आश्रय दे ।
कलह उपशान्त न करने वाले के या प्रायश्चित्त न करने वाले के साथ आहार करे । प्रायश्चित्त का विपरीत प्ररूपण करे या विपरीत प्रायश्चित्त दे ।
प्रायश्चित्त सेवन, उसके हेतु और संकल्प को सुनकर या जानकर भी उस भिक्षु के साथ आहार करे ।
सूर्योदय या सूर्यास्त के संदिग्ध होने पर भी आहार करे । रात्रि के समय मुख में प्राये उद्गाल को निगल जावे । ग्लान की सेवा न करे अथवा विधिपूर्वक सेवा न करे । चातुर्मास में विहार करे ।
३८ पर्युषण के दिन तक लोच न करे ।
३९ पर्युषण के दिन चौविहार उपवास न करे ।
४० पर्युषणाकल्प गृहस्थों को सुना । ४१ चातुर्मास में वस्त्र ग्रहण करे ।
ऐसी प्रवृत्तियां का गुरुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त श्राता है ।
इस उद्देशक के १६ सूत्रों के विषय का कथन निम्न आगमों में है, यथा

५ अनन्तकाययुक्त आहार आ जाने पर उसके अ. १, उ. १ में है ।
