छठा उद्देशक

पोषः-मृगीपदमित्यर्थः तस्य अंतानि पोषंतानि । पिट्ठीए अंतं पिद्रुतं-अपानद्वारमित्यर्थः । उत् प्राबल्येन पाकयति-उप्पाएति, सणे-कोउएण--'उप्पक्कं ममेयं सेइ' त्ति काउं ।
स्त्री के अपानद्वार या योनिद्वार में किसी प्रकार की पीड़ा होने पर वह मुझ से कहेगी या दिखायेगी या अौषध पूछेगी इत्यादि संकल्प से 'भिलावा आदि औषध' किसी भी उपचार के निमित्त से देना, जिससे मैथुन के संकल्प को सफल करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
अथवा पति उसका परित्याग कर दे, इस संकल्प से स्त्री के पूछने पर या अपने मलिन विचारों से ऐसी औषध या लेप देकर उस स्थान को रोगग्रस्त करना।
इसका विवेचन भाष्य गाथा २२६९ से २२७२ तक है। धोखे से ऐसा करने पर तो वह पति से शिकायत करे इत्यादि दोषों की सम्भावना रहती है । अतः स्त्री की इच्छा से करने पर ही फिर उसे ठीक करने की जो क्रियाएँ की जाती हैं, उनका कथन आगे के सूत्रों में है।
छठे उद्देशक का सारांश
१-१० कुशील-सेवन के लिए स्त्री को निवेदन करना, हस्त कर्म करना, अंगादान का संचालन आदि प्रवृत्ति करना यावत् शुक्रपात करना।
११-१३ विषयेच्छा से स्त्री को वस्त्ररहित करना, वस्त्ररहित होने के लिये कहना, कलह करना, पत्र लिखना।
१४-१८ मैथुन-सेवन के संकल्प से स्त्री की योनि या अपानद्वार का लेप, प्रक्षालन आदि कार्य करना।
१९-२३ बहुमूल्य, अखंड, धुले, रंगीन और रंगबिरंगे वस्त्र रखना। २४-७७ शरीर का परिकर्म करना ।
७८. दूध, दही आदि पौष्टिक आहार करना इत्यादि प्रवृत्तियां मैथुन के संकल्प से करने पर गुरुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है।
चतुर्थ महाव्रत तथा उसकी सुरक्षा के सम्बन्ध में अनेक सूचनाएँ आगमों में दी गई हैं। फिर भी इस उद्देशक के ७८ सूत्रों में मैथुन के संकल्प से कैसी-कैसी प्रवृत्तियां हो सकती हैं, उनका कथन है जो अन्य सूत्रों के वर्णन से भिन्न प्रकार की हैं । यह इस उद्देशक की विशेषता है।

[157] Posa-mrigipada, meaning the end of the vagina. Its end is called posaṃtāṇi. The end of the vulva is called pidruṭa, meaning the anus. He makes it mature with intensity - uppāeṭi, and says to the woman, "This is cooked for me," with the intention of having sex.
