यत्त्वत्र मण्डलकृतं वैषम्यं यथा सूर्यों सर्वाभ्यन्तरमण्डले वर्तते, चन्द्रमसौ सर्वबाह्य इति तदल्पमितिकृत्वा न विवक्ष्यते। तदेवं यतः सकलकालविशेषाणां सुषमासुषमादिरुपाणामादिभूतस्य युगस्यादौ समचतुरस्रसंस्थिताः सूर्य-चन्द्रमसौ भवन्ति, ततस्तेषां संस्थितिः समचतुरस्रसंस्थानेनोपवर्णिता, अन्यथा वा यथासम्प्रदायं समचतुरस्त्रसंस्थितिः परिभावनीयेति।। नो चेव णं इयरेहिं ति - नो चेव नैव इतरैः- शेषैर्नयैश्चन्द्र-सूर्यसंस्थितिर्जातव्या, तेषां मिथ्यारूपत्वात् तदेवमुक्ता चन्द्र-सूर्यसंस्थितिः।'
