१२. ता कहं ते अद्धमंडलसंठिई आहिताति वदेजा ? तत्थ खलु इमे दुवे अद्धमंडलसंठिई पण्णत्ता, तं जहा - १. दाहिणा चेव अद्धमंडलसंठिई, २. उत्तरा चेव अद्धमंडलसंठिई। ता कहं ते दाहिणा अद्धमंडलसंठिई आहिताति वदेजा ?
ता अयण्णं जंबुद्दीवे दीवे सव्वदीव-समुदाणं सव्वभंतराए सव्वखुड्डागे वट्टे जाव जोयणसयसहस्समायाम - विक्खंभेणं तिण्णि जोयणसयसहस्साई, दोन्नि य सत्तावीसे जोयणसए, तिण्णि कोसे अट्ठावीसं च धणुसयं तेरस य अंगुलाई अद्धंगुलं च किंचिविसेसाहिए परिक्खेवेणं पण्णत्ते।

से निक्खममाणे सूरिए दोच्चंसि अहोरत्तंसि उत्तराए अंतराए भागाए तस्सादिपदेसाए अब्भिंतरं तच्चं दाहिणं अद्धमंडलसंठितिं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ।
