In the eighth Prabhrit - the Sun that rises in the south-east illuminates the Bharatadi regions located in the south of Meru and the Sun that rises in the west-north illuminates the Airavatadi regions located in the north of Meru. Thus, the existence of two Suns has been established and the system of day and night has been clarified from this. Along with this, the statement of Utsarpini-Avasarpini time in relation to different regions is also described in this Prabhrit.
In the ninth Prabhrit - while proving the human shadow, it has been explained that there is a shadow of 59 human measures at the time of sunrise and sunset. And in this regard, while mentioning many opinions and counter-opinions, an establishment has been made regarding the human shadow according to one's own opinion.
