प. ता लवणे णं समुद्दे किं समचक्कवालसंठिए विसमचक्वालसंठिए ? उ. ता लवणसमुद्दे समचक्कवालसंठिए, नो विसमचक्वालसंठिए। प. ता लवणसमुद्दे केवइयं चक्कवालविक्खंभेणं, केवइयं परिक्खेवेणं ? आहिए त्ति वएजा।
उ. ता दो जोयणसयसहस्साइं चक्कवालविक्खंभेणं, पण्णरस जोयणसयसहस्साई एक्कासीयं च सहस्साइं सयं च एगूणचालीसं किंचि विसेसूणं परिक्खेवेणं । गाहा -
पण्णरस सयसहस्सा, एक्कासीयं सयं च ऊतालं। किंचि विसेसेणूणो, लवणोदहिणो परिक्खेवो॥ १ प. ता लवणसमुद्दे -
केवइया चंदा पभासिंसु वा, पभासिंति वा, पभासिस्संति वा ? २ प. केवइया सूरा तविंसु वा, तविंति वा तविस्संत्ति वा ? ३ प. केवइया गहा चारं चरिंसु वा, चरंति वा चरिस्संति वा ? ४ प. केवइया णक्खत्ता जोगं जोइंसु वा, जोएंति वा जोइस्संति वा ? ५ प. केवइया तारागणकोडि-कोडीओ सोभं सोभेसु वा सोभंति वा सोभिस्संति वा ? १ उ. ता लवणसमुद्दे चत्तारि चंदा पभासिंसु वा, पभासिंति वा, पभासिस्संति वा। २ उ. चत्तारि सूरिया तविंसु वा, तविंति वा, तविस्संति वा। ३ उ. तिण्णि बावण्णा महग्गहसया चारं चरिंसु वा चरंति वा, चरिस्संति वा। ४ उ. बारस णक्खत्तसयं जोगं जोएंसु वा जोएंति वा, जोइस्संति वा। ५ उ. दो सयसहस्सा सत्तटुिं च सहस्सा णव य सया तारागणकोडिकोडीणं सोभं
