अथवा - किसी शोधसंस्थान के माध्यम से चन्द्र-सूर्यप्रज्ञप्ति पर विस्तृत शोधनिबन्ध लिखवाना। किसी योग्य श्रमण-श्रमणी या विद्वान् को शोधनिबन्ध लिखने के लिये उत्साहित करना।

दोनों उपांगों के दसवें प्राभृत के सतरहवें प्राभृत-प्राभृत में प्रत्येक नक्षत्र का पृथक-पृथक भोजन-विधान है। इनमें मांस भोजन के विधान भी हैं।
इन्हें देखकर सामान्य स्वाध्यायी के मन में एक आशंका उत्पन्न होती है। १. (क) इन प्रतिपत्तियों के पूर्व के प्रश्नसूत्र विच्छिन्न हैं।
(ख) इन प्रतिपत्तियों के बाद स्वमत-प्रतिपादक सूत्रांश भी विच्छिन्न हैं।
उपांगद्वय के संकलनकर्ता ने प्रतिपत्तियों के जितने उद्धरण दिये हैं, उनके प्रमाणभूत मूल ग्रन्थों के नाम, ग्रन्थकारों के नाम, अध्याय, श्लोक, सूत्रांक आदि नहीं दिये हैं।
