[The Thirteenth Prabhrta]
The moon traverses thirteen and sixty-seven parts of its own and the other's course. This makes up the complete half-circle of the outer (eastern) side. When the moon enters the eastern part, it traverses forty-eight and sixty-seven parts of the outer eastern half-circle, thirteen and sixty-seven parts of the other's course, and thirteen and sixty-seven parts of its own course. This completes the outer eastern half-circle.
When the moon enters the western part, it traverses eighty-seven and sixty-seven parts of the fourth western half-circle, and subtracting sixty-seven parts, it traverses eighteen parts of its own and the other's course. This completes the fourth western half-circle.
Thus, the moon in one month traverses thirteen and forty-four parts of the other's course, thirteen and thirteen parts of its own course, two and forty-one parts, eighty-seven and sixty-seven parts, subtracting sixty-seven parts, it traverses eighteen parts of its own and the other's course. The remaining two and thirteen parts, which the moon traverses by itself without any association, constitute its wandering course.
This is the moon, the moon, the auspicious, the moon, the moon.
