जहा पढमस्स अयणस्स आलावगो तहा दोच्चस्स अयणस्स भाणियव्यो। जहा अयणे तहा संवच्छरे, जुगे, वाससए, वाससहस्से, वास-सयसहस्से, पुव्वगे, पुव्वे, जाव सीसपहेलिया पलिओवमे सागरोवमे य। उस्सप्पिणी
ता जया णं जंबुद्दीवे दीवे मंदरस्स पव्वयस्स दाहिणड्ढे उस्सप्पिणी पडिवजइ, तया णं उत्तरड्ढेऽवि उस्सप्पिणी पडिवजइ।

___ता जया णं लवणेसमुद्दे दाहिणड्ढे दिवसे भवइ, तया णं लवणेसमुद्दे उत्तरड्ढेऽवि दिवसे भवइ । जया णं लवणेसमुद्दे उत्तरड्ढे दिवसे भवइ। तया णं लवणेसमुद्दे पुरथिम-पच्चत्थिमे णं राई भवइ।
सेसं जहा जंबुद्दीवे दीवे तहेव जाव ओसप्पिणी। धायइखंडो
ता धायइखंडे णं दीवे सूरिया - १. (क) ऊपर जहाँ जहाँ 'उस्सप्पिणी' है वहाँ वहाँ 'ओसप्पिणी' कहें। २. 'जच्चेव जंबूद्दीवस्स वत्तव्वता भणिता, सच्चेव सव्वा अपरिसेसिता लवणसमुदस्स वि भाणितष्या।'
नवरं - इमेणं अभिलावेणं सव्ये आलावगा भाणितव्वा। प. (क) लवणे णं भंते ! समुद्दे सूरिया -
उदीण-पादीणमुग्गच्छ पादीण-दाहिणमागच्छंति ? (ख) पादीण-दाहिणमुग्गच्छ दाहिण-पादीणमागच्छंति ? (ग) दाहिण-पादीणमुग्गच्छ पादीण-उदीणमागच्छंति ?
(घ) पादीण-उदीणमुग्गच्छ-उदीण-पादीणमागच्छंति ? उ. (क-घ) हंता गोयमा! लवणे णं समुद्दे सूरिया -
उदीण-पादीणमुग्गच्छ पादीण-दाहिणमागच्छंति, जाव पादीण-उदीणमुग्गच्छ उदीण-पादीणमागच्छंति।
एतेणं अभिलावेणं णेतव्यं - जाव प. (क) जदा णं भंते ! लवणसमुद्दे दाहिणड्ढे पढमा उस्सप्पिणी पडिवजति
तदा णं उत्तरड्ढे वि पढमा उस्सप्पिणी पडिवज्जति ? (ख) जदा णं उत्तरड्ढे पढमा उस्सप्पिणी पडिवज्जति, तदा णं लवणसमुद्दे पुरथिमपच्चत्थिमे णं नेवत्थि ओसप्पिणी,
