तए णं तस्स कण्हस्स वासुदेवस्स अट्ठमभत्ते परिणममाणे हरिणेगमेसिस्स देवस्स आसणं चलइ । तए णं हरिणेगमेसी देवें आसणं चलियं पासइ, पासित्ता, ओहिं पउंजति । तए णं तस्स हरिणेगमेसिस्स देवस्स अयमेयारूवे अज्झत्थिए चिंतिए पत्थिए मणोगए संकप्पे समुप्पज्जित्था - एवं खलु जंबुद्दीवे दीवे भारहे वासे बारवई नयरीए पोसहसालाए कण्हे नामं वासुदेवे अट्ठमभत्तं परिगिण्हित्ता णं मम मणसि करेमाणे करेमाणे चिट्ठइ । तं सेयं खलु मम कण्हस्स वासुदेवस्स अंतिए पाउब्भवित्तए । एवं संपेहेइ, संपेहित्ता उत्तरपुरच्छिमं दिसीभागं अवक्कमति, अवक्कमित्ता विउव्वियसमुग्धाएणं समोहणति, समोहणित्ता संखेज्जाई जोयणाई दंडं निसिर । तं जहा
