[अन्तकृद्दशा इस द्वारका नगरी को सूत्रकार ने "अलकापुरीसंकासा" अर्थात् अलकापुरी सदृश कहा है। वैश्रमणदेव की नगरी का नाम अलकापुरी है। यह अलकापुरी अद्वितीय सौन्दर्य वाली है। द्वारका नगरी का निर्माण स्वयं कुबेर ने किया है। वे अपनी नगरी की सभी विशेषताओं को द्वारका में ले आए थे, उसमें उन्होंने कोई न्यूनता नहीं रहने दी थी। अतः द्वारका को कुबेरनगरी से उपमित करना या उसे कुबेरनगरी के तुल्य बताना उचित ही है।
पासादीया आदि ४ शब्दों के अर्थ इस प्रकार हैं- हृदय में प्रमोद-प्रसन्नता पैदा करने वाली नगरी 'पासादीया' है। जिस नगरी को देख-देखकर आंखें श्रान्ति-थकावट अनुभव न करें, निरन्तर देखने की ही उनमें लालसा बनी रहे, उसे 'दर्शनीया' कहते हैं। जिस नगरी की दीवारों पर राजहंस, चक्रवाक सारस, हाथी, महिष, मृग आदि के तथा जल में स्थित (विहार करते हुए) मगरमच्छ आदि जलीय प्राणियों के सुन्दर चित्र बने हुए हों अथवा जिस नगरी को एक बार देख लेने पर भी, उसे पुनः देखने के लिये दर्शक की इच्छा बनी रहती हो, उस नगरी को 'अभिरूपा' कहते हैं। जिस नगरी को जब भी देखो तब ही उस में देखने वाले को कुछ नवीनता प्रतिभासित हो, उस नगरी को 'प्रतिरूपा' कहते हैं।
