[ अन्तकृद्दशा
९४] नामक तीसरी पृथ्वी में जन्म लोगे। प्रभु के श्रीमुख से अपने आगामी भव की यह बात सुनकर कृष्ण वासुदेव खिन्नमन होकर आर्त्तध्यान करने लगे। तब अरिहंत अरिष्टनेमि पुनः इस प्रकार बोले
"हे देवानुप्रिय ! तुम खिन्नमन होकर आर्त्तध्यान मत करो। निश्चय से हे देवानुप्रिय ! कालान्तर में तुम तीसरी पृथ्वी से निकलकर इसी जंबूद्वीप के भरत क्षेत्र में आने वाले उत्सर्पिणी काल में पुंड्र जनपद के शतद्वार नाम के नगर में " अमम" नाम के बारहवें तीर्थंकर बनोगे । वहाँ बहुत वर्षों तक केवली पर्याय का पालन कर तुम सिद्ध-बुद्ध-मुक्त होवोगे ।
अरिहंत प्रभु के मुखारविन्द से अपने भविष्य का यह वृत्तान्त सुनकर कृष्ण वासुदेव बड़े प्रसन्न हुए और अपनी भुजा पर ताल ठोकने लगे। जयनाद करके त्रिपदी - भूमि में तीन बार पाँव का न्यास कियाकूदे। थोड़ा पीछे हटकर सिंहनाद किया और फिर भगवान् नेमिनाथ को वंदन नमस्कार करके अपने अभिषेक-योग्य हस्तिरत्न पर आरूढ हुए और द्वारका नगरी के मध्य से होते हुए अपने राजप्रासाद में आये । अभिषेकयोग्य हाथी से नीचे उतरे और फिर जहाँ बाहर की ओर उपस्थानशाला थी और जहां अपना सिंहासन था वहां आये । वे सिंहासन पर पूर्वाभिमुख विराजमान हुए। फिर अपने आज्ञाकारी पुरुषोंराजसेवकों को बुलाकर इस प्रकार बोले

५ - " गच्छह णं तुब्भे देवाणुप्पिया ! बारवईए नयरिए सिंघाडग जाव [ तिग- चउक्कचच्चर - चउम्मुह - महापहपहेसु हत्थिखंधवरगया महया - महया सद्देणं ] उग्घोसेमाणा - उग्घोसेमाणा एवं वयह - ' एवं खलु देवाणुप्पिया! बारवईए नयरीए नवजोयण जाव' देवलोगभूयाए सुरग्गिदीवायण - मूलाए विणासे भविस्सइ, तं जो णं देवाणुप्पिया! इच्छइ बारवईए नयरीए राया वा जुवराया वा ईसरे वा तलवरे वा माडंबिय - कोडुंबिय - इब्भ-सेट्ठी वा देवी वा कुमारो वा कुमारी वा अरहओ अरिट्टणेमिस्स अंतिए मुंडे जाव' पव्वइत्तए, तं णं कण्हे वासुदेवे विसज्जेइ । पच्छांतुरस्स वि य से अहापवित्तं वित्तिं अणुजाणइ । महया इड्डिसक्कारसमुदएण य से निक्खमणं करे । दोच्चं पि तच्चं पि घोसणयं घोसेह, घोसित्ता ममं एवं आणत्तियं पच्चप्पिणह ।" तए णं ते कोडुंबिया जाव पच्चप्पिणंति ।
देवानुप्रियो ! तुम द्वारका नगरी के श्रृंगाटक, त्रिक, चतुष्क, चत्वर, चतुर्मुख महापथों एवं पथों में हस्तिस्कंध पर से जोर-जोर से घोषणा करते हुए इस प्रकार कहो कि - " हे द्वारकावासी नगरजनो ! इस बारह योजन लंबी यावत् प्रत्यक्ष स्वर्गपुरी के समान द्वारका नगरी का सुरा, अग्नि एवं द्वैपायन के कोप के कारण नाश होगा, इसलिये हे देवानुप्रियो ! द्वारका नगरी में जिसकी इच्छा हो, चाहे वह राजा हो, युवराज हो, ईश्वर (स्वामी या राजकुमार) हो, तलवर (राजा का मान्य) हो, माडंबिक (छोटे गांव का स्वामी) हो, कौटुम्बिक (दो तीन कुटुंबों का स्वामी) हो, इभ्य हो, रानी हो, कुमार हो, कुमारी हो, राजरानी हो, राजपुत्री हो, इनमें से जो भी प्रभु नेमिनाथ के निकट मुण्डित होकर यावत् दीक्षा लेना चाहे, उसे कृष्ण वासुदेव ऐसा करने की आज्ञा देते हैं। दीक्षार्थी के पीछे उसके आश्रित सभी कुटुंबीजनों की भी श्रीकृष्ण यथायोग्य व्यवस्था करेंगे और बड़े ऋद्धि-सत्कार के साथ उसका दीक्षा महोत्सव सम्पन्न करेंगे।" इस प्रकार दोतीन बार घोषणा को दोहरा कर पुनः मुझे सूचित करो। " कृष्ण का यह आदेश पाकर उन आज्ञाकारी राजपुरुषों ने वैसी ही घोषणा दो-तीन बार करके लौटकर इसकी सूचना श्रीकृष्ण को दी।

This Dwarka city, which is as beautiful as a heavenly city, will be destroyed due to the wrath of Sura, Agni, and Dvaipayan. Therefore, O Devānupriya! Whoever in Dwarka city desires to be initiated, whether he be a king, a prince, a lord (master or prince), a sword (king's favorite), a Maḍambik (lord of a small village), a Kautumbik (lord of two or three families), an Ibh, a queen, a prince, a princess, a queen, a princess, whoever among them desires to be initiated by shaving his head near Lord Nemnath, Krishna Vasudeva gives him permission to do so. Krishna will also make arrangements for all the family members of the initiate and will celebrate his initiation ceremony with great pomp and ceremony.' Proclaim this twice or thrice and then inform me." Hearing this order of Krishna, those obedient royal men proclaimed it twice or thrice and returned to inform Krishna.
