सेकेणट्ठेणं, देवाणुप्पिया! एवं वुच्चइ समणे भगवं महावीरे महामाहणे ?
एवं खलु, सद्दालपुत्ता ! समणे भगवं महावीरे महामाहणे उप्पन्न - णाण- दंसणधरे जाव' महिय-पूइए जाव' तच्च - कम्म- संपया - संपउत्ते । से तेणट्ठेणं देवाणुप्पिया! एवं वुच्चइ समणे भगवं महावीरे महामाहणे ।
आगए णं देवाणुप्पिया ! इहं महागोवे ? के णं, देवाणुप्पिया ! महागोवे ?
समणे भगवं महावीरेमहागोवे ।
सेकेणट्ठेणं, देवाणुप्पिया ! जाव ( एवं वुच्चइ - समणे भगवं महावीरे ) महागोवे ।
