[२२७ ६४१- एक्को भगवं वीरो [पासो मल्ली य तिहि तिहि सएहिं] ।
भगवं पि वासुपुज्जो छहिं पुरिससएहिं निक्खंतो] ॥२४॥ उग्गाणं भोगाणं राइण्णाणं [च खत्तियाणं च ।
चउहिं सहस्सेहिं उसभो सेसा उ सहस्स-परिवारा] ॥२५॥ दीक्षा-ग्रहण करने के लिए भगवान् महावीर अकेले ही घर से निकले थे। पार्श्वनाथ और मल्ली जिन तीन-तीन सौ पुरुषों के साथ निकले। तथा भगवान् वासुपूज्य छह सौ पुरुषों के साथ निकले थे ॥ २४॥ भगवान् ऋषभदेव चार हजार उग्र, भोग, राजन्य और क्षत्रिय जनों के परिवार के साथ दीक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए घर से निकले थे। शेष उन्नीस तीर्थंकर एक-एक हजार पुरुषों के साथ निकले थे।॥२५॥ ६४२- समुइत्थ णिच्चभत्तेण [णिग्गओ वासुपुज्ज चोत्थेणं ।
पासो मल्ली य अट्ठमोणं सेसा उ छठेणं] ॥२६॥ सुमति देव नित्य भक्त के साथ, वासुपूज्य चतुर्थ भक्त के साथ, पार्श्व और मल्ली अष्टमभक्त के साथ और शेष बीस तीर्थंकर षष्ठभक्त के नियम के साथ दीक्षित हुए थे॥२६॥ ६४३-एएसिंणं चउवीसाए तित्थगराणं चउव्वीसं पढमभिक्खादायारो होत्था।तं जहा
सिज्जंस बंभदत्ते सुरिंददत्ते य इंददत्ते य । पउमे य सोमदेवे माहिंदे तह य सोमदत्ते य ॥२७॥ पुस्से पुणव्वसू पुण्णणंद सुणंदे जये य विजये य । तत्तो य धम्मसीहे सुमित्तं तह वग्गसीहे अ ॥२८॥ अवराजिय विस्ससेणे वीसइमे होइ उसभसेणे य । दिपणे वरदत्ते धणे बहुले य आणुपुव्वीए ॥२९॥ एए विसुद्धलेसा जिणवरभत्तीइ पंजिलिउडा उ ।
तं कालं तं समयं पडिलाभेई जिणवरिंदे ॥३०॥ इन चौबीसों तीर्थंकरों को प्रथम वार भिक्षा देने वाले चौबीस महापुरुष हुए हैं। जैसे
१. श्रेयान्स, २. ब्रह्मदत्त, ३. सुरेन्द्रदत्त, ४. इन्द्रदत्त, ५. पद्म,६. सोमदेव,७. माहेन्द्र, ८. सोमदत्त, ९. पुष्य, १०. पुनर्वसु, ११. पूर्णनन्द, १२. सुनन्द, १३. जय, १४. विजय, १५. धर्मसिंह, १६. सुमित्र, १७. वर्ग(वग्ग) सिंह, १८. अपराजित, १९. विश्वसेन, २०. वृषभसेन, २१. दत्त, २२. वरदत्त, २३. धनदत्त और २४. बहुल, ये क्रम से चौबीस तीर्थंकरों को पहली वार आहारदान करने वाले जानना चाहिए। इन सभी विशुद्ध लेश्यावालों ने जिनवरों की भक्ति से प्रेरित होकर अंजलिपुट से उस काल और उस समय में जिनवरेन्द्र तीर्थंकरों को आहार का प्रतिलाभ कराया॥ २७-३०॥ ६४४- संवच्छरेण भिक्खा [लद्धा उसभेण लोगणाहेण।
सेसेहि वीयदिवसे लद्धाओ पढमभिक्खाओ॥३१॥] लोकनाथ भगवान् ऋषभदेव को एक वर्ष के बाद प्रथम भिक्षा प्राप्त हुई। शेष सब तीर्थंकरों को प्रथम भिक्षा दूसरे दिन प्राप्त हुई॥ ३१॥
