५९४-विजय-वेजयंत-जयंत-अपराजियाणं देवाणं केवइयं कालं ठिई पन्नत्ता? गोयमा! जहन्नेणं बत्तीसं सागरोवमाइं, उक्कोसेणं तेत्तीसं सागरोवमाइं। सव्वढे अजहण्णमणुक्कोसेणं तेत्तीसं सागरोवमाइं ठिई पन्नत्ता।
भगवन् ! विजय, वैजयन्त, जयन्त, अपराजित विमानवासी देवों की स्थिति कितने काल की कही गई है?
गौतम! जघन्य स्थिति बत्तीस सागरोपम और उत्कृष्ट स्थिति तेतीस सागरोपम कही गई है।
सर्वार्थसिद्ध नामक अनुत्तर विमानों में अजघन्य-अनुत्कृष्ट (उत्कृष्ट और जघन्य के भेद से रहित) सब देवों की तेतीस सागरोपम की स्थिति कही गई हैं।
- विवेचन– पाँचों अनुत्तर विमानों में भी वहाँ की जघन्य-उत्कृष्ट स्थिति में से अन्तर्मुहूर्त कम पर्याप्तक देवों की स्थिति जानना चाहिए। तथा सभी देवों की अपर्याप्त काल सम्बन्धी जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट स्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त जाननी चाहिए।
५९५ –कति णं भंते! सरीरा पन्नत्ता? गोयमा! पंच सरीरा पन्नत्ता, तं जहा-ओरालिए वेउव्विए आहारए तेयए कम्मए।
भगवन् ! शरीर कितने कहे गये हैं?
गौतम! शरीर पांच कहे गये हैं - औदारिक शरीर, वैक्रिय शरीर, आहारक शरीर, तैजस शरीर और कार्मण शरीर।
५९६ -ओरालियसरीरे णं भंते! कइविहे पन्नत्ते ? गोयमा! पंचविहे पन्नत्ते। तं जहाएगिंदिय-ओरालियसरीरे जाव गब्भवक्कंतिय मणुस्स-पंचिदिय-ओरालियसरीरे य।
भगवन् ! औदारिक शरीर कितने प्रकार के कहे गये हैं?
गौतम! पांच प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। जैसे-एकेन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर, यावत् [द्वीन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर, त्रीन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर, चतुरिन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर और पंचेन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर । इत्यादि प्रज्ञापनोक्त] गर्भज मनुष्य पंचेन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर तक जानना चाहिए।
५९७-ओरालियसरीरस्सणं भंते ! केमहालिया सरीरोगाहणा पण्णत्ता? गोयमा ! जहन्नेणं अंगुलअसंखेज्जतिभागं, उक्कोसेणं साइरेगं जोयणसहस्सं एवं जहा ओगाहण-संठाणे ओरालियपमाणं तह निरवसेसं (भाणियव्वं।)।एवं जाव मणुस्से त्ति उक्कोसेणं तिण्णि गाउयाई।
भगवन् ! औदारिकशरीर वाले जीव की उत्कृष्ट शरीर-अवगाहना कितनी कही गई है?
गौतम! [पृथिवीकायिक आदि की अपेक्षा] जघन्य शरीर-अवगाहना अंगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग प्रमाण और उत्कृष्ट शरीर-अवगाहना [बादर वनस्पतिकायिक की अपेक्षा] कुछ अधिक एक हजार योजन कही गई है।
