निषध वर्षधर पर्वत के उपरिम शिखरतल से इस रत्नप्रभा पृथिवी के प्रथम कांड के बहुमध्य देश भाग का अन्तर नौ सौ योजन है।
इसी प्रकार नीलवन्त पर्वत का भी अन्तर नौ सौ योजन का समझना चाहिए। वर्षधर पर्वतों में निषध पर्वत तीसरा ओर नीलवन्त पर्वत चौथा है। दोनों का अन्तर समान है ।
४८३ - सव्वे वि णं गेवेज्जविमाणे दस-दस जोयणसयाई उड्ढं उच्चत्तेणं पण्णत्ते ।
सव्वे वि णं जमगपव्वया दस-दस जोयणसयाई उड्ढं उच्चत्तेणं पण्णत्ता । दस-दस गाउयसयाई उव्वेणं पण्णत्ता। मूले दस-दस जोयणसयाइं आयामविक्खभेणं पण्णत्ता । एवं चित्तविचित्त - कूडा वि भाणियव्वा ।

सभी यमक पर्वत दश दश सौ योजन ऊंचे कहे गये हैं। तथा दश दश सौ गव्यूति (१००० कोश) उद्वेध वाले कहे गये हैं । वे मूल में दश - दश सौ योजन आयाम - विष्कम्भ वाले हैं। इसी प्रकार चित्र-विचित्र कूट भी कहना चाहिए ।
विवेचन - नीलवन्त वर्षधर पर्वत के उत्तर में सीता महानदी के दोनों किनारों पर उत्तर कुरु में यमकं नाम के दो पर्वत हैं। इसी प्रकार देवकुरु में सीतोदा नदी के दोनों किनारों पर निषध पर्वत के दक्षिण में चित्र-विचित्र नाम के दो पर्वत हैं। अतः अढ़ाई द्वीप में पाँच-पाँच सीता और सीतोदा नदियाँ हैं, अतः उनके दश-दश यमक कूटों का निर्देश प्रस्तुत सूत्र में किया गया है। वे सभी एक-एक हजार योजन ऊंचे, एक-एक हजार कोश भूमि में गहरे और गोलाकार होने से सर्वत्र एक-एक हजार योजन आयाम-विष्कम्भ वाले अर्थात् चौड़े हैं।
४८४–सव्वे वि णं वट्टवेयड्ढपव्वया दस-दस जोयणसयाई उड्ढं उच्चत्तेणं पण्णत्ता। दस-दस गाउयसयाइं उव्वेहेणं पण्णत्ता । मूले दस-दस जोयणसयाइं विक्खंभेणं पण्णत्ता । सच्वत्थ समा पल्लगसंठाणसंठिया पण्णत्ता ।
सभी वृत्त वैताढ्य पर्वत दश दश सौ योजन ऊंचे हैं। उनका उद्वेध दश दश सौ गव्यूति है । वे मूल दश दश सौ योजन विष्कम्भ वाले हैं। उनका आकार ऊपर-नीचे सर्वत्र पल्यंक (ढोल) के समान गोल

४८५ - सव्वे विणं हरि-हरिस्सहकूडा वक्खारकूडवज्जा दस-दस जोयणसयाई उड्ढ उच्चत्तेणं पण्णत्ता । मूले दस जोयणसयाई विक्खंभेणं (पण्णत्ता ) । एवं बलकूड वि नंदणकूडवज्जा ।
वक्षार कूट को छोड़ कर सभी हरि और हरिस्सह कूट दश दश सौ योजन ऊंचे हैं और मूल में दश सौ योजन विष्कम्भ वाले हैं। इसी प्रकार नन्दन - कूट को छोड़ कर सभी बलकूट भी दश सौ योजन विस्तार वाले जानना चाहिए ।
