[समवायाङ्गसूत्र करना, ३. बहुमान करना और ४ वर्णवाद (गुण-गान) करना, ये चार कर्तव्य उक्त पन्द्रह पदवालों के करने पर (१५४४-६०) साठ भेद हो जाते हैं।
सात प्रकार का औपचारिक विनय कहा गया है-१.अभ्यासन-वैयावृत्य के योग्य व्यक्ति के पास बैठना, २. छन्दोऽनुवर्तन-उसके अभिप्राय के अनुकूल कार्य करना, ३. कृतिप्रतिकृति-'प्रसन्न हुए आचार्य हमें सूत्रादि देंगे' इस भाव से उनको आहारादि देना, ४. कारितनिमित्तकरण-पढ़े हुए शास्त्रपदों का विशेष रूप से विनय करना और उनके अर्थ का अनुष्ठान करना, ५. दुःख से पीड़ित की गवेषणा करना, ६. देश-काल को जान कर तदनुकूल वैयावृत्त्य करना, ७. रोगी के स्वास्थ्य के अनुकूल अनुमति देना।
पाँच प्रकार के आचारों के आचरण कराने वाले आचार्य पाँच प्रकार के होते हैं। उनके सिवाय उपाध्याय, तपस्वी, शैक्ष, ग्लान, गण, कुल, संघ, साधु और मनोज्ञ, इनकी वैयावृत्य करने से वैयावृत्त के १४ भेद होते हैं।
इस प्रकार शुश्रूषा विनय के १० भेद, तीर्थंकरादि के अनाशातनादि ६० भेद, औपचारिक विनय के ७ भेद और आचार्य आदि के वैयावृत्त्य के १४ भेद मिलाने पर (१०+६०+७+१४-९१) इक्यानवै भेद हो जाते हैं।
४१९–कालोए णं समुद्दे एकाणउई जोयणसयसहस्साइं साहियाइं परिक्खेवेणं पण्णत्ते। कालोद समुद्र परिक्षेप (परिधि) की अपेक्षा कुछ अधिक इक्यानवै लाख योजन कहा गया है।
विवेचन-जम्बूद्वीप एक लाख योजन विस्तृत है, लवणसमुद्र दो लाख योजन विस्तृत है, धातकीखण्ड चार लाख योजन विस्तृत है और उसे सर्व ओर से घेरने वाला कालोद समुद्र आठ लाख योजन विस्तृत है। इन सबकी विष्कम्भ सूची २९ लाख योजन होती है। इतनी विष्कम्भ सूची वाले कालोद समद्र की सक्षम परिधि करणसत्र के अनसार ९१७७६०५ योजन,७१५ धनुष और कुछ अधिक ८७ अंगुल सिद्ध होती है। उसे स्थूल रूप से सूत्र में कुछ अधिक इक्यानवै लाख योजन कहा गया है।
४२०-कुंथुस्स णं अरहओ एकाणइई आहोहियसया होत्था। कुन्थु अर्हत् के संघ में इक्कानवै सौ (९१००) नियत क्षेत्र को विषय करने वाले अवधिज्ञानी थे। ४२१-आउय-गोयवज्जाणं छण्हं कम्मपगडीणं एकाणउई उत्तरपयडीओ पण्ण्त्ताओ।
आयु और गोत्र कर्म को छोड़ कर शेष छह कर्मप्रकृतियों की उत्तर प्रकृतियाँ (५+९+२+२८+४२+५=९१) इक्यानवै कही गई हैं।
