[१०९ एकचत्वारिंशत्स्थानक-समवाय २४४-नमिस्स णं अरहओ एकचत्तालीसं अज्जियासाहस्सीओ होत्था। नमि अर्हत् के संघ में इकतालीस हजार आर्यिकाएं थीं।
२४५-चउसु पुढवीसु एक्कचत्तालीसं निरयावाससयसहस्सा पण्णत्ता, तं जहारयणप्पभाए पंकप्पभाए तमाए तमतमाए।
चार पृथिवियों में इकतालीस लाख नारकवास कहे गये हैं, जैसे-रत्नप्रभा में ३० लाख, पंकप्रभा में १० लाख, तमःप्रभा में ५ कम एक लाख और महातम:प्रभा में ५।
२४६-महालियाए णं विमाणपविभत्तीए पढमे वग्गे एक्कचत्तालीसं उद्देसणकाला पण्णत्ता। महालिका (महत्ती) विमानप्रविभक्ति के प्रथम वर्ग में इकतालीस उद्देशनकाल कहे गये हैं।

द्विचत्वारिंशत्स्थानक-समवाय . २४७-समणे भगवं महावीरे वायालीसं वासाइं साहियाइं सामण्णपरियागं पाउणित्ता सिद्धे जाव सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणे।
श्रमण भगवान् महावीर कुछ अधिक बयालीस वर्ष श्रमण पर्याय पालकर सिद्ध, बुद्ध, यावत् (कर्म-मुक्त, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त और) सर्व दुःखों से रहित हुए।
२४८-जंबुद्दीवस्स णं दीवस्स पुरच्छिमिल्लाओ चरमंताओ गोथूभस्स णं आवासपव्वयस्स पच्चच्छिमिल्ले चरमंते एस णं वायालीसं जोयणसहस्साइं अबाहातो अंतरं पन्नत्तं। एवं चउद्दिसिं पि दओभासे, संखे, दयसीमे य।
जम्बूद्वीप नामक इस द्वीप की जगती की बाहरी परिधि के पूर्वी चरमान्त भाग से लेकर वेलन्धर नागराज के गोस्तभ नामक आवास पर्वत के पश्चिमी चरमान्त भाग तक मध्यवर्ती क्षेत्र का बिना किसी बाधा या व्यवधान के अन्तर बयालीस हजार योजन कहा गया है। इसी प्रकार चारों दिशाओं में भी उदकभास, शंख और उदकसीम का अन्तर जानना चाहिए।
२४९-कालोएणं समुद्दे वायालीसं चंदा जोइंसुवा, जोइंति वा, जोइस्संति वा।वायालीसं सूरिया पभासिंसु वा, पभासंति वा, पभासिस्संति वा।
