36. The full stanza runs as follows: ब्राह्म मुहूर्ते किल तस्य देवी कुमारकल्पं सुषुवे कुमारम् । अतः पिता ब्रह्मण एव नाम्ना तमात्मजन्मानमजं चकार ॥ It should be noted that here the feat cannot be picked in the first half as the order of words is not the same as in an अन्वयवाक्य.

42. षोडशाद्यान्त्यगौ-- षोडशस्य आद्यः च अन्त्यः च षोडशाद्यान्त्यौ च तौ गौ च, where the syllable before (7) the 16th and the one after () the 16th syllable are metrically long ( ग = गुरु ). श्रुतिद्वय, ie 8 as मुति which means the Vedas denotes the figure 4., a serpant, denotes the number 9. fata:, qfa:,

42, I. 1. यतिविच्छेदात्, यत्या विच्छेदात् यतिकृतात् तैलमूर्खशब्दयोः भङ्गात्.
43. When a word which ought to be mentioned for a complete and coherent sense is omitted the fault न्यूनपद occurs, eg in सन्तुष्टः कमलानाथः पापिनां मुक्तिमाददौ, अपि should have been mentioned after पापिनां, the sense being that Visņu liberated even the sinners. In the absense of erft the meaning would be that Visnu emancipated only the sinners (but not the good and the pious)!
