सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र
The mendicant, who always remains attentive in respect of eight types of prides, nine types of celibacy incognitoes, and ten types of sage-religious order; he does not remains in this world. (10)
एकत्रिंश अध्ययन [ ४०८
उवासगाणं पडिमासु, भिक्खूणं पडिमासु य । जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥११॥
जो भिक्षु उपासकों (श्रमणोपासकों) की (ग्यारह) प्रतिमाओं और भिक्षु (साधु की बारह ) प्रतिमाओं में सदा (उपयोगवान) यतनाशील रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रहता ॥११॥
The mendicant, who always remains strenuous, with regard to householders' eleven special determinative resolutions (pratimā), sages' twelve special propiliations (pratimā), he does not remain in this world. ( 11 )
किरियासु भूयगामेसु
य ।
परमाहम्मिएसु जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं से न अच्छइ मण्डले
॥१२॥
जो भिक्षु (तेरह) क्रियाओं में, ( चौदह प्रकार के ) भूतग्रामों (जीव समूहों ) और (पन्द्रह प्रकार के ) परमाधार्मिक देवों में सदा यतनाशील (उपयोगवान) रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१२॥
The mendicant, who remains always attentive with regard to thirteen types of activities, fourteen kinds of living beings (groups of empirical souls) and fifteen kinds of irreligious and cruel deities, he does not stop in this world. (12)
गाहासोलसएहिं

य ।
असंजमम्मि जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१३॥
जो भिक्षु गाथा षोडशक (सूत्रकृतांग के सोलह अध्ययन ) और (सत्रह प्रकार के ) असंयम में सदा (उपयोग युक्त) यतनावान रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१३॥
The mendicant, who always remains strenous to sixteen gathās (16 chapters of Sutrakrtanga sutra) and (abandoning) seventeen kinds of non-restrain, he does not stay in the world. (13)
बम्भम्मि नायज्झयणेसु, ठाणेसु य ऽसमाहिए ।
भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१४॥
जो भिक्षु (अठारह प्रकार के ) ब्रह्मचर्य, ( १९ प्रकार के ) ज्ञातासूत्र के अध्ययन तथा ( बीस प्रकार के ) असमाधिस्थानों में सदा यतनाशील (उपयोगवान) रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१४॥
Mendicant, who always exerts himself in eighteen types of celibacy, nineteen chapters of Jñātā sūtra and (alert from) twenty places not worthy for contemplation; he does not remain in this world. (14)

एगवीसाए सबलेसु बावीसा जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१५॥
