४०९] एकत्रिंश अध्ययन
सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र
इक्कीस शबल दोषों और बाईस परीषहों में जो भिक्षु सदा यतना (उपयोगवान) रखता है, वह संसार में प्ररिभ्रमण नहीं करता ॥१५॥
Mendicant, who always remains alert with regard to twenty one great faults and (conquering) twentytwo troubles, he does not transmigrate in this world. (15)
तेवीसइ सूयगडे, रूवाहिएसु सुरेसु अ ।
जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१६॥ जो भिक्षु सूत्रकृतांग सूत्र के तेईस अध्ययनों और (२४ प्रकार के) अत्यन्त सुन्दर रूप वाले देवों में उपयोगवान (यतनाशील) रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१६॥
Mendicant, who always indulges himself in twenty three chapters of Sūtrakstānga sutra and alert from twenty four types of extremely beautiful deities and gods, he does not stay in this world. (16)
पणवीस-भावणाहिं, उद्देसेसु दसाइणं ।
जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१७॥ जो भिक्षु (पाँच महाव्रतों की) पच्चीस भावनाओं और दशाश्रुतस्कन्ध आदि के (छब्बीस) उद्देशकों में सदा यतनावान (उपयोगयुक्त) रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१७॥
Mendicant, who always indulges himself in twentyfive feelings and reflections of five great vows and twentysix chapters of Daśāśrutaskandha etc., he does not stay in this world. (17)
अणगारगुणेहिं च, पकप्पम्मि तहेव य ।
जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१८॥ जो भिक्षु (सत्ताईस प्रकार के) अनगार गुणों में और प्रकल्प (आचार-प्रकल्प-आचारांग के अट्ठाईस अध्ययन) में सदा उपयोगयुक्त-यतनाशील रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं रुकता ॥१८॥
The mendicant, who always addict himself to the twentyseven virtues of a monk and twentyeight chapters of prakalpa (acaraprakalpa-Acārănga); he does not stay in this world. (18)
पावसुयपसंगेसु, मोहट्ठाणेसु चेव य ।
जे भिक्खू जयई निच्चं, से न अच्छइ मण्डले ॥१९॥ जो भिक्षु (२९ प्रकार के) पापश्रुत प्रसंगों और मोहस्थानों (३० प्रकार के महामोहनीय कर्म बन्ध के स्थानों) में सदा यतनाशील रहता है, वह संसार में नहीं ठहरता ॥१९॥
The mendicant, who always remains alert from twentynine sinful scriptures and thirty causes of dense infatuation (causes of rigid bondages of karmas); he does not entangle in this worldly life. (19)
सिद्धाइगुणजोगेसु, . तेत्तीसासायणासु य ।
