सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र
गिरिं रेवययं जन्ती, वासेणुल्ला उ अन्तरा ।
वासन्ते अन्धयारंमि, अन्तो लयणस्स सा ठिया ॥३३॥ रैवतक गिरि पर जाती हुई वह (राजीमती) बीच में ही वर्षा से भीग गई, जोरदार वर्षा से अन्धकार छा जाने पर वह आश्रय के लिए एक गुफा के अन्दर प्रविष्ट होकर ठहर गई ॥३३॥
Assembling on mountain Raivataka she drenched by the rains. When darkness prevailed due to heavy rains, she entered in a cave for shelter and stayed there. (33)
चीवराई विसारन्ती, जहा जाय त्ति पासिया ।
रहनेमी भग्गचित्तो, पच्छा दिट्ठो य तीइ वि ॥३४॥ अपने गीले वस्त्रों (चीवर) को सुखाने के लिए फैलाती हुई यथाजात (नग्न) रूप में राजीमती को देखकर रथनेमि का चित्त विचलित हो गया। फिर राजीमती ने भी उसे (रथनेमि को) देखा ॥३४॥
She took off her all cloths and spread them for drying up, thus became naked as she was born. Rathanemi (who was meditating in the interior part of that cave) when saw her naked then his pcace of mind disturbed. And then Rajimati also saw him (Rathanemi). (34)
भीया य सा तहिं दटुं, एगन्ते संजयं तयं ।
बाहाहिं काउं संगोफं, वेवमाणी निसीयई ॥३५॥ वहाँ उस गुफा के एकान्त में समुद्रविजय के पुत्र रथनेमि को देखकर राजीमती भयभीत हो गई। भय से काँपती हुई वह अपनी दोनों बाहुओं से शरीर को संगोपन करके बैठ गई ॥३५॥
Rājimati frightened by seeing Rathanemi, the son of Samudravijaya, in loneliness of that cave. Trembling with fear she sat covering her breast by her arms. (35)
अह सो वि रायपुत्तो, समुद्दविजयंगओ ।
भीयं पवेवियं दटुं, इमं वक्कं उदाहरे ॥३६॥ तव समुद्रविजय के अंगजात (आत्मज) राजपुत्र (रथनेमि) ने भयभीत और काँपती हुई राजीमती को देखकर इस प्रकार का वचन कहा-॥३६॥
When Rathanemi, son of Samudravijaya, saw her trembling with fear, he spoke these words unto her-(36)
रहनेमी अहं भद्दे ! सुरूवे ! चारुभासिणि ! ।
ममं भयाहि सुयणू ! न ते पीला भविस्सई ॥३७॥ (रथनेमि) हे भद्रे ! मैं रथनेमि हूँ। हे सुरूपे ! हे मधुरभाषिणी ! हे सुतनु ! मुझे स्वीकार कर ले। तुझे किसी प्रकार की कोई पीड़ा नहीं होगी ॥३७॥
(Rathanemi) O Gentle woman ! I am Rathanemi. O beautiful, sweetly speaking, tender bodied ! Accept me. No pain of any kind you would have to feel. (37)
एहि ता भुजिमो भोए, माणुस्सं खु सुदुल्लहं । भुत्तभोगा तओ पच्छा, जिणमग्गं चरिस्समो ॥३८॥
