सोच्चाण मेहावि सुभासियं इमं, अणुसासणं नाणगुणोववेयं ।
मग्गं कुसीलाण जहाय सव्वं, महानियण्ठाण वए पहेणं ॥५१॥ मेधावी साधक ज्ञानगुण से युक्त इस हितशिक्षा-सुभाषित को सुनकर कुशील-आचारभ्रष्ट सब साधुओं के मार्ग को छोड़कर महानिर्ग्रन्थों के पथ का अनुगमन करे॥५१॥
Having heard this beneficial instruction with knowledge-virtue; the wise adept leaving the path of all the bad and fallen sages from right conduct, follow the path of great knot-free monks. (51)
चरित्तमायारगुणनिए तओ, अणुत्तरं संजम पालियाणं ।
निरासवे संखवियाण कम्मं, उवेइ ठाणं विउलुत्तमं धुवं ॥५२॥ चारित्र-आचार तथा ज्ञान आदि गुणों से संपन्न निर्ग्रन्थ निरानव होता है। वह उत्कृष्ट शुद्ध संयम का पालन कर तथा कर्मों का क्षय करके विपुल, उत्तम, ध्रुव स्थान-मोक्ष को प्राप्त कर लेता है ॥५२॥
Opulent with the virtues of conduct and knowledge the knot-less monk is free from inflow of karmas. Practising the excellent pure restrain and destructing all the karmas he attains the greatest, best and eternal place-the salvation. (52)
एवुग्गदन्ते वि महातवोधणे, महामुणी महापइन्ने महायसे ।
महानियण्ठिज्जमिणं महासुयं, से काहए महया वित्थरेणं ॥५३॥ इस प्रकार कर्मों का क्षय करने में उग्र, महा तपोधन, महाप्रतिज्ञ, जितेन्द्रिय, महायशस्वी उन मुनि ने महानिर्ग्रन्थीय महाश्रुत का अति विस्तार पूर्वक कथन किया ॥५३॥
Thus much vigourous to destruct the karmas, great prenancer, steadily resolved, conqueror of senses (sensual pleasures) most glorious that monk (Anāthi knotless monk) described at large the esteemed dialect of great knot-free doctrine. (53)
तुट्ठो य सेणिओ राया, इणमुदाहु कयंजली ।
अणाहत्तं जहाभूयं, सुठु मे उवदंसियं ॥५४॥ (श्रेणिक) तुष्ट हुए राजा श्रेणिक ने हाथ जोड़कर कहा-भगवन् ! आपने मुझे अनाथता का स्वरूप भली-भाँति समझाया है ॥५४॥
(Sreņika) Contended king Śreņika spoke with folded hands-Reverend sir ! You have very well expressed the meaning of unprotectedness. (54)
तुझं सुलद्धं खु मणुस्सजम्मं, लाभा सुलद्धा य तुमे महेसी !
तुब्भे सणाहा य सबन्धवा य, जं भे ठिया मग्गे जिणुत्तमाणं ॥५५॥ ___ हे महर्षि ! आपका मनुष्य जन्म वास्तव में सफल हुआ, आपकी लब्धियाँ सफल हुईं। आप ही सनाथ और सबान्धव हो क्योंकि आप जिनेश्वरों के मार्ग में स्थित हो ॥५५॥
O great sage ! Really your man-birth became successful. Your occult powers also became successful. You only are the protected and with the feelings of brother-hood
