At that time in Bharat continent there were many rows of trees such ias Serika-row, Navamalika-row, Korantak-row, Bandhujeevak-row, ५ i Manovadya-row, Beej-row, Ban-row, Karnikar-row, Kubjak-row, y Sinduvar-row, Mudgar-row, Yuthika-row, Mallika-row, Vasantika-row, Vastul-row, Kastul-row, Shaival-row, Agasti-row, Magadantika-row, Champak creeper-row, Jati-row, Navanitika-row, Kund-row, Mahajatifi row (gulm ). All of them were very beautiful, deep like black clouds and y were full of flowers of five colours. They were decorating the extremely levelled and attractive land of Bharat area with the flowers fallen from the tip of their branches due to the wind.

२७. तीसे णं समाए भरहे वासे तत्थ तत्थ तहिं मत्तंगा णामं दुमगणा पण्णत्ता, जहा से ५ चंदप्पभा– (मणिसिलाग–वरसीधु - वरवारुणि – सुजायपत्तपुप्फफलचो अणिज्जा, ससारबहुदव्यजुत्ति- ५ संभारकालसंधि-आसवा, महुमेरग - रिट्ठाभ - दुद्धजातिपसन्नतल्लगसाउ-खज्जूरिमुद्दि आसारकाविसायण - 4 सुपक्क - खोअरसवरसुरा, वण्ण-गंध-रस-फरिस - जुत्ता, बलवीरिअ - परिणामा मज्जविही बहुप्पगारा, तहेब ते मत्तंगा वि दुमगणा अणेगबहु - विविहवीससापरिणयाए मज्जविहीए उववेया, फलेहिं पुण्णा वीसंदंति कुसविकुस - विसुद्धरुक्खमूला) छण्णपडिच्छण्णा चिट्ठति, एवं जाव (तीसे णं समाए तत्थ तत्थ बहवे) अणिगणा णामं दुमगणा पण्णत्ता ।
२७. उस समय भरत क्षेत्र में जहाँ-तहाँ मत्तांग नामक कल्पवृक्ष - समूह थे। वे चन्द्रप्रभा, (मणिशिलिका, उत्तम मदिरा, उत्तम वारुणी, उत्तम वर्ण, गन्ध, रस तथा स्पर्शयुक्त, बलवीर्यप्रद सुपरिपक्व पत्तों, फूलों और फलों के रस एवं बहुत से अन्य पुष्टिप्रद पदार्थों के संयोग से निष्पन्न आसव, मधु - मद्यविशेष, मेरक- मद्यविशेष, रिष्टाभारिष्ट रत्न के वर्ण की सुरा या जामुन के फलों से निष्पन्न सुरा, दुग्ध जाति-प्रसन्ना - आस्वाद में दूध के सदृश सुराविशेष, तल्लक-सुराविशेष, शतायु -सुराविशेष, खजूर
