9555555555555555555555555555555555555 ॐ नीलवान् द्रह के पूर्वी-पश्चिमी पार्श्व में दस-दस योजन के अन्तराल पर बीस कांचनक पर्वत हैं। 卐 वे सौ योजन ऊँचे हैं। ॐ कांचनक पर्वतों का विस्तार मूल में १०० योजन, मध्य में ७५ योजन तथा ऊपर ५० योजन है।
उनकी परिधि मूल में ३१६ योजन, मध्य में २३७ योजन तथा ऊपर १५८ योजन है। ____ पहला नीलवान्, दूसरा उत्तरकुरु, तीसरा चन्द्र, चौथा ऐरावत तथा पाँचवाँ माल्यवान्-ये पाँच द्रह हैं। ॐ अन्य ग्रहों का प्रमाण, वर्णन नीलवान् द्रह के सदृश है। उनमें एक पल्योपम आयुष्य वाले देव
निवास करते हैं। प्रथम नीलवान् द्रह में जैसा सूचित किया गया है, नागेन्द्र देव निवास करता है तथा
अन्य चार में व्यन्तरेन्द्र देव निवास करते हैं। वे एक पल्योपम आयुष्य वाले हैं। 卐 106. [Q.] Reverend Sir ! Where is Neelavan lake in Uttarkuru ?
[Ans.) Neelavan lake is in the very middle of Sita river at a distance of 834 and four-seventh yojan from the southern end of Yamak 卐 mountains. Its length is in north-south direction and breadth is in east
west direction. Its description is like that of Padma lake. The only difference is that Neelavan lake is surrounded by two lotus Vedikas and two forest regions. Neelavan demi-god of Nagkumar class resides there. The remaining description is as mentioned earlier.
There are two Kanchanak mountains at a distance of ten yojan each in the east-west side of Neelavan lake. 4 The Kanchanak mountains are hundred yojan at base, 75 yojan in the i middle and 50 yojan at the top.
Their circumference is 316 yojan at the base, 236 yojan in the middle 5 and 158 yojan at the top.
There are five lakes. The first is Neelavan, the second is Uttarkuru, the third is Chandra, the fourth is Airavat and the fifth is Malyavan. The size and description of other lakes is, the same as that of Neelavan
lake. The celestial beings with a life-span of one palyopam reside there. 1 As has been mentioned in the first Neelavan lake, Nagendra Deva i resides while in the remaining four lakes Vyantar gods reside. Their life
