रथ के पहिये के आकार के सदृश गोलाकार है। कमलकर्णिका-कमल के बीज-कोष की
तरह गोल है। पूर्ण चन्द्रमा के आकार के समान गोलाकार है। इसकी लम्बाई-चौड़ाई एक 0 लाख योजन प्रमाण है। तीन लाख सोलह हजार दो सौ सत्ताईस योजन, तीन कोस, एक सौ ६ अट्ठाईस धनुष तथा साढ़े तेरह अंगुल से कुछ अधिक इसकी परिधि बतलाई गई है।
134. Gautam ! This Jambudvipa continent is located at the center of all continents and oceans. It is round and smallest of all. * It is round like a pua (a round fried cookie), like a chariot wheel,
like a lotus seed pod and like a full moon. Its length and breadth is one hundred thousand Yojans (one Yojan being eight miles). सविलेवणं गंधसमुग्गयं गिण्हइ, गिण्हित्ता तं अवदालेइ, अवदालित्ता जाव इणामेव त्ति कटु केवलकप्पं जंबुद्दीवं दीवं तिहिं अच्छराणिवाएहिं तिसत्तखुत्तो अणुपरियट्टित्ता णं हव्वमागच्छेज्जा।
१३५. एक अत्यधिक ऋद्धिमान्, द्युतिमान्, अत्यन्त बलवान्, महायशस्वी, परम सुखी, * बहुत प्रभावशाली ऐसा कोई देव चन्दन, केसर आदि विलेपन करने योग्य सुगन्धित चूर्ण से
परिपूर्ण पेटी लेता है, लेकर उस पेटी को वहीं पर खोलता है, खोलकर उस सुगन्धित चूर्ण
को सर्वत्र बिखेरता हुआ तीन चुटकी बजाने जितने समय में समस्त जम्बूद्वीप की इक्कीस * परिक्रमाएँ कर तुरन्त लौट आता है।
____135. A god endowed with great fortune, radiance, power, glory, happiness and influence takes a box filled with perfumed powder (sandalwood, saffron etc.) prepared for application. He opens the box and sprinkling around the powder, moves with great speed going around Jambudveep twenty one times and returning in as little time as taken in snapping fingers thrice.
