से अपने आपको कृतार्थ समझता था । आपके सत्योपदेश और प्रयत्न का ही यह फल है कि लुधियाना में 'जैन कन्या पाठशाला' नाम की संस्था भली प्रकार से चल रही है । जहां आजकल अनुमानतः हजार से अधिक कन्याएं शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रही हैं । इस संस्था में कन्याओं को सांसारिक शिक्षा के अतिरिक्त धार्मिक शिक्षा भी भली भांति दी जाती है । पंजाब प्रान्त के स्थानकवासी जैन समाज में यही एक पाठशाला है, जिसका संचालन सुप्रबन्ध और नियम से चल रहा है ।
आप के वचन में ऐसी अलौकिक शक्ति थी कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को आकर्षित कर ती थी । आप के वाक्य मधुर, स्वल्पाक्षर और गंभीरार्थ होते थे । आपका अधिक समय प्रायः मौनवृत्ति में ही व्यतीत होता था । आप प्रायः आत्म-विचार में निमग्न होकर आत्मिक आनन्द का अनुभव करते रहते थे ।

काल - गति ऐसी विचित्र है कि वह किसी का ध्यान नहीं करती। उसके लिए धर्मात्मा, पुण्यात्मा, ऊंच नीच का कोई विचार नहीं होता । आखिर इसने अपना कराल पञ्जा स्वामी जी के ऊपर भी डाला । १६८८ ज्येष्ठ कृष्णा १५ शुक्रवार को आपने पाक्षिक व्रत किया । वैसे तो वृद्धावस्था के कारण प्रायः खेद रहा ही करता था, किन्तु इस पारण के दिन आपको वमन और विरेचन लग गये और आप अत्यन्त निर्बल हो गये । यह देख सायंकाल आपने साधुओं को कहा कि मुझे अब अनशन करा दो । तदनुसार साधुओं ने आपको सागारी अनशन करा दिया । उस समय आपने आलोचना द्वारा भली भांति आत्म-शुद्धि की और सब जीवों के प्रति शुद्ध अन्तःकरण से क्षमापन किया। रविवार के दिन औषध छोड़ कर सागारी अनशन किया। बारह बजे के बाद आपकी दशा विशेष चिन्ता - जनक हो गई । आपने सायंकाल चार बजे आहार का त्याग कर दिया । सोमवार प्रातःकाल डाक्टर और वैद्यों ने जब आपकी दशा अधिक चिन्ताजनक देखी तो आपको आजीवन अनशन करा दिया गया । कोई साढ़े आठ बजे के समय आपके मुख पर अकस्मात् एक मुस्कराहट आई । आपके ओष्ठ इस प्रकार हो गये कि जैसे आप पाठ कर रहे हों । १६८८ ज्येष्ठ शुक्ला द्वितीया को सोमवार के दिन आपके प्राण नाक और आंखों के मार्ग से निकलते हुए प्रतीत हुए । इस शान्ति और समाधिमय मुद्रा से आप इस औदारिक देह को छोड़कर तेजोमय वैक्रिय शरीर धारण कर स्वर्गलोक में उत्पन्न हुए ।
आपके वियोग से श्रीसंघ में अत्यन्त व्याकुलता छा गई । किन्तु फिर भी धैर्य धारण कर पंजाब प्रान्त में चारों ओर आपके स्वर्गवास का समाचार तार से पहुंचाया गया ।
