दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
एवं खलु श्रमण ! आयुष्मन् ! निर्ग्रन्थी निदानं कृत्वा तत्स्थानमनालोच्य (ततः) अप्रतिक्रान्ता यावदप्रतिपद्य कालमासे कालं कृत्वान्यतरेषु देव-लोकेषु देवतयोपपत्ती भवति । सा तत्र देवो भवति महर्द्धिको यावन्महा - सौख्यः । सा च ततो देव-लोकादायुः क्षयेणानन्तरं चयं त्यक्त्वा य इमे भवन्ति उग्रपुत्रास्तथैव दारको यावत्किं ते आस्यकस्य स्वदते । तस्य नु तथाप्रकारस्य पुरुष - जातस्य यावत् अभव्यः स तस्य धर्मस्य श्रवणाय । स च भवति महेच्छो यावद्दक्षिण-गामिको यावद् दुर्लभ बोधिकश्चापि भवति । एवं खलु यावत् प्रतिश्रोतुम् ।
दशमी दशा
पदार्थान्वयः–समणाउसो-हे आयुष्मन् ! श्रमण ! एवं खलु-इस प्रकार णिग्गंथी-निर्ग्रन्थी णिदाणं-निदान - कर्म किच्चा - करके तस्स उस ठाणस्स - स्थान पर अणालोइय- बिना उसके विषय में गुरु से आलोचना किये और उससे अप्पडिक्कंता - बिना पीछे हटे और जाव-यावत् अपडिवज्जित्ता - बिना प्रायश्चित्त ग्रहण किये कालमासे-मृत्यु के समय कालं किच्चा - काल करके अण्णयरेसु-किसी एक देवलोएसु-देव-लोक में देवत्ताए - देव-रूप से उववत्तारो - उत्पन्न भवति होती है सा णं-वह तत्थ - वहां महिड्डिए -महा ऐश्वर्य वाला जाव - यावत् महासुक्खे - महा सुख वाला देवे भवति देव होती है सा णं-वह फिर ताओ - उस देवलोगाओ-देव- लोक से आउक्खएणं- आयुःक्षय होने के कारण अनंतरं - बिना किसी अन्तर के चयं - देव- शरीर को चइत्ता छोड़ कर जे- जो इमे-ये उग्गपुत्ता- उग्रपुत्र भवंति - होते हैं तहेव - शेष वर्णन पूर्ववत् है अर्थात् उनमें से किसी एक के कुल में वह दारए - दारक (लड़का ) होता है जाव - यावत् ते- आपके आसगस्स - मुख को किं-क्या सदति-अच्छा लगता है फिर तस्स - उस तहप्पगारस्स-उस प्रकार के पुरिस- जातस्स - पुरुष को जाव-यावत् यदि कोई श्रमण या श्रावक धर्म सुनावे तो वह सुन नहीं सकता क्योंकि से-वह तस्स-उस धम्मस्स-धर्म के सवणता - सुनने के अभविए णं-अयोग्य होता है किन्तु से य- वह तो भवति हो जाता है महिच्छे - उत्कट इच्छाओं वाला और दाहिणगामिए-दक्षिणा दिशा के नरक में जाने वाला तथा जाव - यावत् दुल्लभ-बोहिए यावि-दूसरे जन्म में दुर्लभ - बोधि वाला भवति - होता है । एवं खलु - इस प्रकार वह निर्ग्रन्थी निदान-कर्म करके केवलि-भाषित धर्म को जाव - यावत् पडिणित्तए - सुनने के लिए भी समर्थ नहीं हो सकता ।
