हिन्दीभाषाटीकासहितम् ।
मूलार्थ - हे आयुष्मन् ! श्रमण ! इस प्रकार निर्ग्रन्थी निदान-कर्म करके और उसका गुरु से उस समय बिना आलोचन किये, बिना उससे पीछे हटे तथा बिना प्रायश्चित ग्रहण किये मृत्यु के समय काल करके किसी एक देव-लोक में देव रूप से उत्पन्न हो जाती है और वहां बड़े ऐश्वर्य और सुख वाला देव हो जाता है । फिर उस देव-लोक से आयु-क्षय होने के कारण बिना किसी अन्तर के देव-शरीर को छोड़कर जो ये उग्र-पुत्र

हैं उनके कुल में बालक रूप से उत्पन्न होता है सेवक उसकी प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आपको कौन सा पदार्थ रुचिकर है । इस प्रकार का पुरुष केवलि - भाषित धर्म को सुनने के अयोग्य होता है । किन्तु वह बड़ी इच्छाओं वाला और दक्षिणगामी नैरयिक होता है और दुर्लभं बोधिक कर्म की उपार्जना करता है । इस प्रकार हे आयुष्मन् ! श्रमण ! वह केवलि-प्रतिपादित धर्म को सुन भी नहीं सकता ।
टीका - इस सूत्र में भी सब वर्णन पूर्ववत् ही है जब वह निर्ग्रन्थी उक्त रीति से निदान-कर्म करती है और उसका आलोचन नहीं करती तो मृत्यु के अनन्तर किसी एक देव-लोक में देव - रूप से उत्पन्न हो जाती है । फिर वहां से आयु-क्षय होने के कारण मनुष्य लोक में उग्र आदि कुल में कुमार - रूप से उत्पन्न हो जाती है । वहां वह पुरुष ऐश्वर्य में इस प्रकार लीन हो जाती है कि उसमें केवलि - प्रतिपादित धर्म को सुनने तक की शक्ति अवशिष्ट नहीं रहती क्योंकि सांसारिक काम-भोग उसको धर्म की ओर से अन्धा बना देते I
अब सूत्रकार पांचवें निदान कर्म के विषय में कहते हैं

Then, due to the exhaustion of her lifespan in that **dev-lok**, without any interval, she leaves her divine body and is born as a child in the lineage of the **Ugra-putra** (fierce sons). Servants ask her, "What do you desire?" Such a person is incapable of listening to the **kevali-bhashit dharma** (the teachings of the omniscient). However, she is full of desires, a **dakshinagami nairyik** (one who goes towards the south, a type of hell), and earns the **durbhalam bodhik karma** (karma that hinders enlightenment). Thus, O Venerable Ascetic! She cannot even hear the **kevali-pratipadit dharma** (the teachings of the omniscient).
